Well clearly, as you say, none of these deals will happen, but it just goes to show what fans can come up with!
by Stan on October 14, 2007
Yes you can get some good so called expert 'gossip' on the messageboards, sometimes it even puts the redtops to shame! I'd take Arteta though, lets throw in Crouch as well with Kewell and see what happens!
by Ian on October 14, 2007
Messageboard rumour mongers should always be taken with a kilo of salt. However i would take Jens over Robinson right now! Mind you he has played for Arsenal and therefore can't be trusted (joke)

we dont need him he is passed it come on you spurs
by dave on October 14, 2007
No way would I swap Arteta for any one in the liverpool team besides gerrard. That has to be a big wind up
by Thomas on October 14, 2007
As if Arteta would leave and for that matter why would Everton sell him to anyone and at that deffintly not Liverpool. He wouldn't go Everton are not a selling club and Liverpool are on the slip I also heard he is supose to be going to Chelsea? Dumb rumors and papers need to leave Everton players alone trying to mess them up.

I'd love to see Harry Kewell leave in swap for Arteta and I hae read he is best friends with Xabi Alonso and even lives next to each other. But on the other hand why the fuck would they sell to liverpool!

What a stupid article Lehmann to Tottenham? Have a laugh!
by Deano on October 14, 2007
Re: 'Ian'. "What kind of Yid are You"? I think You need to decide where Your loyalty lies? Robbo is having a bad patch, We would never consider bringing that cheating goon scum; to the 'Lane'! They can wish for 'Adel' all they like... he is going nowhere! Take note... a few more games, then watch their season crumble!!!
On a sombre note, I will take this time; to say goodbye to Dainton the Bear Connell. For Years a huge figure amonst the gooners top-boys (and who can forget him singing with PSB and jumping on the pitch, after Michael Thomas's championship winning goal), a loving family man & a good friend. Goons and Yids (who knew You) will miss him. "RIP 'D'... You lived life, like few others"!

ya if all thats true den i the fuckin pope what a load of rubbish
by andyenclosure on October 14, 2007
Re Deano. Call yourself spurs? You are a disgrace with your comments about the dead goon. How old are you, 16? The mug was hated. If you knew your history.

i heard the Moyes and Arteta had a bust up, now Moyes wants him out, also Rooney has been feeling a little left out since the arrival Carlos Teves. Teves it seems is hanging out to much with Ranaldo and Ferdinand, which is why poor wayne is feeling so down, though it has been said that wayne is picking up whilst on England duty, mainly thanks to Ferdinand, as we are led to believe. i dont know if there is any truth in this, ill leave it up to you to decide

Arteta would only ever leave Everton for Spain and he isn't leaving for a few years yet. Everton are the most improved team over the past 5 years and should get into the top 6 much with much more regularity
by Local Idiot on October 15, 2007
I heard the Arteta/Kewell rumour, I also heard Liverpool might be swapping Crouch for Kaka and even buy back Traore to swap for Robinho. Do me a favour.
by mogLie on October 15, 2007
I'll take Arteta any day. Let offload Kewel. Ain't that's cool..
by JimBob on October 15, 2007
I like the idea of swaping Kewell for Arteta, even though i doubt it but if we threw in Crouch as a sweetener then i think we would have a chance. YNWA

Nice comment Deano. Im sure a Spurs hero wud be givin the same respect by ours fans. Nice to see not all people are sick in the head. Bit of respect is nice.

Harry is a great player, he is just cursed with injuries. look at him back in his leeds days, he was killer. if he stays injury free he will compete for the first team every week. just give him a chance

Liverpool are on the slip? based on what exactly? The cups we are winning? Last years European Cup final? Our best start to a season in years? Please clarify, because if what Liverpool are doing is slipping then Everton have fallen off the edge a long time ago, about 22 years ago by my calculations. Arteta would do well to come to us, a big club with realistic chances of winning trophies, unlike the Goodison desert but he'd have to fight for his place. The sign of quality really, he walks into that Everton side and you lot are screwed without him. Signs of a small club over reliant on one player.
