You honestly think Redknapp is looking to sign Berba by making those comments? Hahahahahahaha This site is hilarious!

Hahaha! Here we go again. Another bait plopped into the water in readiness for unwitting fans - this time Spurs and Pompey. Of course Dimitar Berbatov wouldn't go to Pompey (even if Spurs were ready to sell and even if Redknapp was interested) and of course Spurs are a far bigger club, despite current difficulties, and have far greater potential for future success. But just watch all the outraged fans of both clubs come out of the woodwork to protest about this article!

harrys just slagged off berbatov and you think it's a ploy to get him here???? your brain cell must be lonely! oh and Dan.... you backwheel skids might be a bigger club, but you're also in the relegation zone right now... glass houses n stones n'all that...

And, if you'd read properly, you would have understood that I wasn't gobbing off about Spurs being a bigger club at all. I was merely highlighting that the author of this article was, as per usual, stirring things up by unnecessarily pointing out the obvious. Do try to keep up. There's a good lad.
bottom 3, players want to leave, best manager you've had since the arsenal boy bagged you a trophy in 91 being treated like a coont and the biggest joke of a board in the country.. if that's potential, i'd rather be a far smaller club looking down and laughing his ass off at another delusional spurs fan... when you go down with the scummers can we have defoe on a free? :)

No one was bragging about Spurs. But hey, don't let the facts get in the way, eh? And just to correct you, the trophy that Spurs won under George Graham was in 1999 - not 1991.

I know what you are saying that pompey are a smaller club with history, players, etc taken into consideration. But at the end of the day pompey are performing very well while spurs are faltering. Who knows, in a couple of years time this article could be turned on its head and pompey could see themselves as the club who many others look up to. I wish Berbatov was on his way to pompey but got to face reality that his next stepping stone would be a high profile club like manu, chelski, milan etc. We can only but dream.....

Typical comment from a club that gets disproportionate media coverage to what you've actually achieved, cos youre located in London, where the press are. This does not make you a big club. Football goes round in cycles anyway, and there are times in the past when we've been able to look down on you (hopefully a bit more graciously). Now our star is rising, and yours is faltering, and you dont like it do you? Why would we want Berbatov, or any of your players, when we've got a squad at Pompey who can win matches, not ponse about living on reputation without delivering the goods.

Not sure I'll bother again if this is the quality of reporting on offer. At least try and stick to facts, rather than attempting to belittle fans of clubs you have some unknown issue with.
