Arsenal wont sign those players, for a start they are all over the age of consent and some of them are English!

I'm 33, and been going to Spurs for 29 years. Gerry Francis was sacked for only getting us to seventh place, just a few years ago. Over the past ten years, Spurs fans seem to feel that fifth place is something to be proud of. The board are fantastic, they have the sort of ambition I expect at Tottenham. It doesn't worry me in the slightest if they they want to get us into the Champions League with a 50,000 seater-stadium, so they can sell up and make a profit. If their ultimate motivations inspire them to improve the club, fantastic. It was a debacle at the beginning of the season with the infamous meeting in Spain, but my confidence is returnedd as it seems they are finally going to get their man. Fantastic! I feel for Jol and especially for Chris Hughton, but no-one is bigger than the club. The future looks bright! D Stratford

I must say I am somewhat surprised at the comments on this post. They make it so clear that the posters are either stupid, or have not read the article. Back to the article, it is a good piece, and, of course is true. The rumour mill is a load of trash. I like reading them just to see how pathetic journos are. 99% is rubbish!

I stopped looking at the rags ages ago, purely because I get annoyed by futile speculation.I turn only to the official club websites for updates.Anyway Ramos is a good call but I wonder what the board really expect out of this season. We need to re-group and look at those in the camp who are dragging there heels, to which there is numerous.I loved Gus poyet as a player at Spurs, not sure about his coaching abilities though, especially at this level. Our season proberbly starts from here. We need to lift our heads and get some confidence back through the team.I really hope this creates a level playing field where all squad members get there chance to stake there claim for a place in the 1st eleven.Hopefully now we can turn the corner.Good luck MJ, OUR BEST MANAGER FOR 20 YEARS
