Have any of the stupid stories on this website ever happened?
Have any of the stupid stories on this website ever happened?
Hi Matt, these stories are not created by me, hence the sources quoted, most of them do not happen, and i predict just that. I am only reporting on the rumours and pointed out which ones are duff and which ones could actually happen that's the point of these pieces. The idea is to encourage debate on the supposed hot transfer scoops of the day

As usual the press have the wrong players going to the wrong clubs. Of those mentioned Carson is the only one likelly to interest Wenger. Man City will be interested in Adriano, after all Arsenal have 5 better strikers. Crouch to Man C as Eriksson likes him. Come on guys, we all know Wenger only buys young talent at below 10 millon pounds...

If Bent is worth 16.5m, crouch is worth more. Why would we settle for 10m when if anyone else was selling he'd be 18m...carrick, hargreaves, bent all went for high prices cause they are english. None of whom are regulars for their country. Selling Crouch now is essential, he's running down his contract and is not an integral part of rafa's plans. Whilst he's still hot and before it reaches his bosman season, sell NOW. Same goes for Riise...spurs, city and villa can all fight it out for him too. Rafa has already stated we have 20m pounds this window, perhaps that is under some threat due to our poor CL showing, but i doubt that. With all these sales happening(probably sissoko too) , we could have one large xmas kitty. Who would not prefer a world class defender, a new striker(alves or huntelaar), and some top spanish kid over crouch, carson, riise. That kind of squad player(carson excluded) is not going to win LFC the league. Sissoko is a liability right now but i believe he will be world class one day. We sh

I personally think Rafa has lost his way. Paco leaving/being sacked has completely ruined your season. Crouch to Man city...Rafa the sack!

I like a good laugh to start the week, Adriano for the Gooners...he makes Baptista look like a finely tuned athlete...more chance of Wenger signing me in January!!

since when has robbo been a 'calamity' keeper after 1 or 2 mistakes u spastic journalists
since when has robbo been a 'calamity' keeper after 1 or 2 mistakes u spastic journalists
First off i didn't say he was a calamity keeper, however 1 or 2 mistakes is unrealistic, he has made at least six high profile errors this season, and that's just in the Spurs shirt (The Villa game had more than 1 or 2 on its own)! Even the most ardent Spurs fans would surely rather have Carson

I would rather gabby agbonlahor from aston villa, he make a great partner for van persie or adebayor, say no no no the big adriano
by eamonn on November 20, 2007
not oftren ill agree with agooner mate but if for one minute you think robbo is the same keeper he was two years ago then u are sadly sadly mistaken, and im not jst tlking about this season he was muck last year too, not xactly sur but its something like 8 clean sheets in 50 odd games, n its not all down to allowing anthony gardiner play!! personally i think the england jersey is cursed robbo was brill till hre he made it his own n james has never been better than since he lost it!!

crouch should move on 2 man city.riise too 2 aston villa, pennant 2 birmingham or wigan.rafas tinkering will 4ever cost liverpool every season.most players shud packup and leave anfield if they arent playing regulary coz it wud cost them dearly when they fail 2 be called up to their national teams for euro 2008
since when has robbo been a 'calamity' keeper after 1 or 2 mistakes u spastic journalists
I think you'll find Robinson has made about 8 errors this season. Which makes your spastic journalist remark look rather hollow when you don't even know whats going on yourself mate! Lehmen made 2 mistakes this season, Robinson has dropped howler after howler since day one of the 2007/08 season! Hes a fine shot stopper usually but poor technically for a goal keeper, so when his shot stopping lets him down he's in real trouble and a couple of clean sheets against crap oppposition doesnt mean he's playing well....

There is no way that Crouch is worth £18m. While Bent was over priced his record is much better than Crouch's and most of Bents record was achieved while playing for a relegated Charlton. Bent, 83 starts, 10 subs, 41 Goals. Crouch 79 starts, 30 subs, 32 goals. Bent has more goals in less appearances. Even this season when he has been "rubbish" apparently, he has 3 goals in 4 starts in the league. Crouch has scored some important goals for England & Liverpool but do not over rate him. For me Bent is worth £12m and Crouch £10-11m in todays market.
