"No club has a richer history" This isn't a biased opinion by any chance? History says you haven't even won a European trophy! But of course you have the richest history. Joker!!!
by Goofle on November 22, 2007
Come on, you must have a little more faith than that surely? If we lose we will win the next game. If we lose it will be a final. If we lose it will be against man U, chelsea or Liverpool. When we lose Toure we will have Djourou coming in who is, perhaps, a better partner for Gallas. When we lose Eboue we will cheer in happyness that he isn't going to play for us.

I agree with you totally, I love the Arsenal so much it hurts when they lose. I love the team spirit this season and I will be the first to admit that I was expecting this next season. But the lads grew up much faster than I anticipated and the performance of Hleb has been rock solid. I still think we need a another couple of players, GK and a forward /winger but more than anything I am hoping for a healthy campaign. The last 2 season have been very mean to us where injuries are concerned. Lets go Arsenal.... do with with Class. thats the only way we know.

there's no denying that arsenal is prob playing their best football seen in a long time.. it's hard to admit it being a manutd supporter.. but i guess that's the beauty of football.. we'll never be able to predict what will happen until it actually happens.. well.. enjoy being at the top for now arsenal.. COZ MANUTD IS GONNA WIN THE LEAGUE AND THE CHAMPIONS LEAGUE!!!

Arsenal won the European Cup in 1970, then called the Fair Cup. Rich history does not necessarily mean most succesful, but you'd be hard pressed to find a better run club today. I have complete faith in the Arsenal but that doesn't stop butterflies churning in my stomach when i watch them play.

How must the gooners feel, playing (according to them) the best football they have played, and still not being able to shake off an injury stricken UTD. Enjoy it while it lasts coz it won't be for long.
You foolish idiotic stupendulousic rug muncher.
by Andrew on November 22, 2007
The fair cup wasn't similar to the CL. The fair cup was the cup winners cup, for losers. The CL was called The European cup of champions. Arsenal don't have the richest history, please.. Both liverpool and Man utd have richer. And btw. Manutd play much more fluent and beautiful football. Arsenal have seen themselves lucky the last couple o games. Especially against man utd. they got 2 points of 2 games and they cheered as if they'd won the league. Pathetic. pathetic team..
This article has nothing to do with Man Utd or Liverpool. READ before swearing. As I said before, rich does not mean most successful. If every fan only supports a team based on success, I'd give up on football. We love the game and our teams, arguing over who's better or not without looking at deeper issues is very shallow.

Erh injury stricken? who Scoles? if I remember correctly Arsenal where with out RVP their top striker.[quote]How must the gooners feel, playing (according to them) the best football they have played, and still not being able to shake off an injury stricken UTD. id just like to say to andrew you are an idiot utd may have scored in there two attacks that they created but arsenal played both utd and liverpool off the park there is nothing fluent about utd i sat here laughing my head off at your stupid comment im guessing you are about twelve years old and dont even know the first thing about football you annoying little git! and any other jelous utd fans who cant admit that there team is on the way to the old folks home may aswell give up because arsenal are on the rise and nobody will stop them in time mark my words.

they are just getting better. lets not talk abt their senior team.i mean look at their youth ones the ones who played at carling.they are just great.this shows us that they have a really good examples(the senior team) to follow. And look at man u. their youth got kicked out at the beiginning.and who is their example...??not to annoy the devils but face the fact ur youth ain't near good.the arsenal senior team on the other hand are much younger with lesser experience are able to beat a much older and experienced riched man u twice and a draw recently.so i think we deserved to be labelled winners at this very stage.and yah.its nothing wrong celebrating the draw against man u.

Top of the league, 100% record in the Champions league unbeaten in domestic cups and in nearly 30 odd games and the highest match day turnover in world football, hmmmm sounds really pathetic??? Only to a moron mate. Back to school for you!

Arsenal are playing well at the moment but it will not last, Utd are not at full strength and are not really in top gear yet compared to last season, when that happens everyone will know about it!!!
by Staffan on November 24, 2007
The football they play is fantastic to watch.
by Andrew on November 24, 2007
And arsenal wuz not even dangerous agains us. U got two scrappy goals and u know it!!
by Stanley on November 24, 2007
Well, from all that mocking of Arsenal, can I just say Arsenal beat Wigan on a thin squad while Man Utd lost to Bolton. 3 points ahead and a game in hand. I'm laughing when I can! LondonGooner, hope you're laughing hard too! :D
by swino on November 25, 2007
We may not be able to shake off an injury hit united but we sure can beat Bolton :] and are 3 points clear with a game in hand take care now xx

You took the lead from an own goal. You're just bitter.
by Andrew on November 25, 2007
That's true Stanley. And i can't say anything. Cause i wuz gutted going back from reebok, seing united loose to a poor bolton team. But i have confidence, cuz i remember last season when u beat us at our home ground and we went on a winning spree.. I reckon that'll happen again, and if u loose some point we'll be right back up there..
