Some players make you mad with irritation; their very presence on the field makes you wonder how they ever became professional footballers. We're talking about players you have watched and constantly found yourself saying: “I could do better than that”.

Most of us will still be reeling after last night’s Wembley disaster and might want to nominate some of the so-called talent on show against Croatia,. But maybe it’s best to think back to a truly awful player you saw maybe just once. Or perhaps a player who fooled us all for years.
