spurs paid a fortune on one of Europes finest, Rebrov. it was like winning the lottery and throwing the winning ticket in the bin!!!!!!! his partner in crime is not exactly on fire at Chelsea either. other flops at the spurs were Illie ''Romanias finset???''Dumitrescu, Gregior ''panic buy''Rasiak and ''brought in for merchandise but did he ever play??'' Man U - Veron - close to £30m????? What a waste
by Ian on November 27, 2007
30 million quid for a striker who's only as good a Kuyt who we paid 10 million for. Next would be Rooney.

John Barnes should not get the blame for this one...ALL DOWN TO KENNY DALGELISH WHO WAS A FANTASTIC PLAYER AND A COMPLETE CHANCER AS A MANAGER...HE ABUSED THE POSITION OF CELTIC MANAGER
by jonathan on November 27, 2007
It has to be Juan Veron. I mean come on... £28million for 51 games? sold him to chelsea for 15... (13million loss) played 7 games for them then went on loan to inter, did crap now he's at Estudiantes (who?) deffinately the premiership's, if not the worlds', biggest waste of money.

man city have spent money on a load of tosh in recent years but the one sticking out like a sore thumb is samaras - what a complete waste. lets get rid and get a prolific scorer for half the price we paid for that pile of.....!

Being a City fan this is far too difficult. Don't know where to start. How about Matthias Vuoso - signed by Keagan for £4m but never played a first team game. Sold two years later for 'undisclosed fee; - in other words nowt.

Shevchenco. Obivously.

by Toby Goodden on November 27, 2007
Way over priced and not needed when we have 3 awsome strikers. Defoe is much better than he is any day.
by Clock End Gooner on November 27, 2007
Veron... by far! Next up, has to be Shevchenko...
by joe on November 27, 2007
Why do I get the feeling that Stewart the Rangers fan is hurting? Make no mistake, the 12 mil that Rangers paid for Flo was the best 12 mil Celtic never spent.
