I appreciate what your saying Mark, your right The Mirror are clutching at straws trying to make the most of what is going on at Liverpool, but the fans know it will hopefully all be okay in the end.
by Sean Maloney on November 27, 2007
Indeed your right to dismiss The Mirror, i fancy Carvalho for Liverpool though, he would be a good signing.

I like your pieces, they tend to put the papers in their place, and generally i think we can all agree that most of what we read in the papers does not happen. Your right when you say none of this will happen and Gerrard will not leave, spot on!

to talk sense on Sportingo.. good take Mark :)
by sam charles on November 27, 2007
rubbish all this talk of reina to arsenal, were do you get your sourece from, if reina goes to anywere its baraca for 15 mill. as for gerrard going to barca this is total crap. if you are going to comment on my beloved club then do so in a correct manner.

Support Rafa, the manager who has brought glory to LFC. He is the man to lead LFC to more good things in the future
by sh*tbr*ck on November 27, 2007
Never heard of Baraca? they new? Pepe to Arsenal would be a coup, would prefer Green :D As for Benitez gettin the sack, if it does happen a lot of players will leave.
by Joy of cesc on November 27, 2007
I cannot believe the drivel posted on this site - there is precisely zero chance of any of those deals happening.

if gerrard is leave then liverpool will disdory becouse gerrard is the leader of the team
by stevieg on November 27, 2007
guys, if you read the paper and believe, you really are stupid, there has been a minor disagreement at anfield between Rafa and the owners, theres no way their going to sack Rafa, hes done a great job so far and he is going to bring the title back to where it belongs, if you think different, then to me your not a true fan.

aresenal will not buy reina due to the simple reason that he is bold and will look too old amongst arsenal's talented young squad.

zzzzzzzzzzzz

Liverpool fans are impatient & have been calling Rafa's team selection all season. The only way Rafa will get what he wants is a Chelski move. Good riddance to the Fat Spanish waiter, we want Jose
by fedr on November 27, 2007
JR learn to spell. It's bald not bold, idiot. Lynton I agree with you, get rid of Benitez and bring in Murinho. He will win the premiership for Liverpool Benitez never will especially playing crap players such as Kuyt who can't score even though he's a striker/forward.
by el nino on November 27, 2007
out of all of that the only thing that i heard was true was the move for kaladze but i thought the price would be higher

[/quote] Anyone who spells 'bald' wrongly twice in the same sentence should be put to sleep. As for the aforementioned outbound deals, none of them will happen; Benitez is going nowhere.

I believe that this story has been blown out of all proportions. London and Manchester based reporters are trying to make this into a huge argument because they see the quality Benitez and the Reds possess. Rafa and the big bosses will surely sort this out and the Reds will finally after 18 years win the PL. Go Reds and Rafa !!!
by reina is bold :P on November 27, 2007
am i too old for arsenal team?? Aiyeee stevie G..gimme my wig!!!!
by marc on November 28, 2007

Do you think The Kop would even entertain the idea of an overated idiot like Maureen taking over at Anfield? There would be uproar. So far the fans have acted with dignity. Tomorrow there will be a march to the ground and then constant singing in support of Rafa. They haven't yet criticised the Americans but if Rafa goes and Maureen comes in, watch the burning of American flags and effigies. Don't underestimate the power of the fans.

Why anyone bothers with 'Gerrard/Ronaldinho' swap stories is a mystery. Read quality bloggers who put time and effort into their stories, like http://thirdgen.wordpress.com

And I think that includes the US based owners. Those guy´s are successful and Rafa is succsess. Don´t loose concentration before the game tonight. The lads and Rafa need us there to win a game

What planet is this person from who thought up all this trivel? The next thing he will be saying is that Liverpool are going into administration and will be docked 10 points JUST GET REAL WILL YOU!!!!!!!!!!
by Shane Robinson on November 28, 2007
Jesus Mark what heap of sh*te. Surprised at you, the Mirror?? Come on, there's more truth in a politician. Just trying to add some spark to a quiet day?
by JD on November 28, 2007
To the guy who said Gerrard is the leader of the team, i have to disagree. It's Carragher all the way. Gerrard is given the captain's armband to placate his ego. If mirror was to be believed Raul would have signed for Liverpool ages ago, Hamann would have left the season after he signed from Newcastle and most of Chelsea's players would have left by now. Fact is all the 'star' players are on long term contracts and if they wanna leave (assuming Rafa is sacked) its gonna cost other clubs a shi*t load of money.

im a fan and have been all my life (46 years) so if my opinion doesn't suit yours, that doesn't make me any less of a fan ..... 1.Rafa should stay but he also needs to keep his opinions within the walls of anfield. Maybe my memory is going but I dont remember a manager who went on so much about needing MORE players, remember a lot of the team are his buys, it seems the transfer window closes and within a few days he's going on about the next buys, can't be good for confidence within the team, I know it makes me feel unsure about our future and I have to question if its a tactic by Rafa to cover his arse if he doesn't win the title! 2. Rafa will leave one day, so will gerrard, LFC will still be a top club, NO i dont want either to go but lets stop the panic and fear, Rafa has a job to do and he could become a liverpool legend but he hasn't earned that status yet but yes I agree he has a lot of ability and potential, remember he is there for the club (fans) and I dont want to hear him complaining as tha
