I think Crouch will go, as Babel will become a "striker" soon, and Rafa will hope Leto can begin to produce reserve form in the top flight, in essece replacing Babel. Carson can go, that's good business. I don't think Guthrie will go. Sissoko will due to the emergence of Lucas. it makes a lot of sense to sell these three and perhaps spend the money on a centre half, and look for a right winger who can genuinely pull up some trees.

He should sell some of the players, dont think Crouch should go... I certinaly hope he stays. but everybody else should go. Alright Riise is a very talented player but has probably got complecent over the past few years he needs to motivate himself again, he needs a goal. Sissoko is a ledgend his debut season at Anfield was class. Unfortunately he hasn't lived up to it since. He was a fan favourite for a while but he seemed to get lost in transistion... I can't really coment on Guthrie and Carson because niether have played enough for us but at 6 and 10 million they would have been two great business deals... I just hope Rafa gets his way over the transfers.

"is he better than Craig Gordon, who went to Sunderland for £9m earlier this year? I don’t think so" That'll be the same Craig Gordon recently dropped by Roy Keane. They better hope he's better.

City should invade Liverpool in a 20 million pound swoop for Crouch, Riise and Sissoko. Rafa will hopefully be willing to let these three depart. It would be top business for City. Riise would replace Garrido, Sissoko would replace Johnson and Crouch will be the main striker.

We're looking at Maracas Maraschino cherry. Simple in and out deal with MSI, 22.5 million, no strings, trading, or any of that nonsense Rafa will have to do...why do you think he was in a tizzy about funds? Perfect bodyguard for Elano. El Jefecito will be wearing sky blue in about 4 weeks. Sissoko: Sven is NOT interested in African players for the obvious reason, no matter how good they are.
LOL Pete, I thought the same thing myself...attempted sabotage...too obvious though...too much of the bacon-faced whiner about the suggestion. Crouch the main striker too!!!! Stop it, you're killing me LOL.

Sissoko: Sven is NOT interested in African players for the obvious reason, no matter how good they are. So who should he buy another south american like Elano, from Brazil whose best players are all from African descent. You tool!

If Livepool need to off load a stricker i think Kuyt should be the one sold, he has heart but he is not good enough. At least Crouch can change a game. Look at the last five games Crouch has been one of Liverpool's best players. Also let Sissoko and Carson go and bring in a new full back.

I think whether sissoko goes depends on whether we can secure Masch. If Masch stays, then Sissoko goes. With Gerrard, Alonso, Masch and Lucas we have enough CMF. Who knows maybe Guthrie can have a shot next year. At the end of Jan, we'll either have Sissoko or Masch. Crouch will probably stay. We need 4 strikers. I guess it depends on Crouch's attitude and whether anyone else can be bought for 10 M pounds of similar quality. I think Carson may go if the price is right. If we can hold ownership of Carson, whose values is probably going to increase anyways as times passes by loaning him out, then I think that would be a good decision too. But if get a really good price of say 10M then sell him and get a decent backup Gk for a few million pounds. Risse will probably stay till Insua gets blooded into a regular first teamer, or aurelio stops getting injured so often. We need a Centre back and RMF. RB is pretty covered with Finnan and Arbeloa. LB is covered too with Riise and Aurelio and Arbeloa. CB, wit

When the American's decided to buy into their "soccer franchise" they made several promises that we are now seeing as lies 2 big ones are as follows:- 1. We will not put debt on the club like the glaziers have done at Man utd. - Verdict - Lie the americans are near completing their restructure of the debt in Kop ltd to being secured against the club. 2. We will back the manager and make funds available. Verdict - The need for a defender screams out and whilst it is good to see an acadamy player given a chance it is clear there is a need for defensive cover and £4m is too much!! Further to this it is doubtfull the yanks have spent any mony. £26m was recovered in player sales and about £20m earnt from the champions league final. Total spent in the summer £46m. Investment from the new owners pockets £0. A source close to David Moores has said that had he known how things would turn out he would never had sold to them. The total verdict. Mr Gillett and Mr Hicks please sell our club to some INVESTORS

"but is he better than Craig Gordon, who went to Sunderland for £9m earlier this year? I don’t think so", we all know ability is irrelevant these days, as long as he is English, he will be hellishly overpriced.

The Obvious reason that Sven wouldnt want to sign African players would be their probable abscence in January while on International duty in the African nations tournement.
by bog roll simon on December 07, 2007
its true weat ham are gonna make a bid for him in january! COME ON YOU HAMMERS!
