He's Dutch so plays amazing football. Can you imagine him becoming manager then bringing Messi, Ronaldinho, Aguero, Aimar, Joaquin and Jean Claude Darcheville here? It would be heaven.
by Steve on December 11, 2007
Again i totally agree with your thoughts, Liverpool should never sack Rafa, so the Van Basten rumour, although interesting, is indeed rubbish!
by Frank on December 11, 2007
It's a shame but i think your right, Boruc is going, and there is little we can do to stop it, i think Arsenal would be a good move for him and we should make 10m, which goes a long way in the SPL!

do liverpool fans really think van basten would bring them messi etc? stupid dumb scousers!
by Catbat on December 11, 2007
Have you just decided yourself that Van Basten is in the frame for the job (that is aldready filled). Could, might, maybe, should, I heard in the hairdressers from the tealady at Hicks houses daughter. What signs are you seeing that say Raf is about to be sacked. Some stars signs? Road signs? More rubbish from Sportingo. Unsubstantiated sh**. Any manger in the world who is unattached = rafa's replacement.

Id like to see Spurs try and Re-sign Carrick with the arrival of Hargreeves Carrick has become quite a fringe player at Old Trafford, and I personally feel that we took two steps back the day we sold him, Id love to see Matty Taylor sign we also need an expirienced Defender Dare I bring up the name "Judas" ?? And I definatly agree with Makelele being Considered he would be the perfect replacement for the player we never did replace- Edgar Davids... As for James Henry, its JAMES HENRY! not Thierry Henry before West Ham try and offer him 90k a week...

You really do talk a load of bull dont you? Has the fact that the Hicks & Gillette have come out and said that it's all sorted and Rafa's job isn't under threat not put you off spouting cr@p??? Clown.

sorry mate but judas is a manager now, and mini judas is a striker of yours who thinks he's world class after one goal, although i'd try anything if i had your defence.
Come on mate you got to be consistent, Dean Ashton is arguably your best player, Right? Our 4 strikers are better players you really can’t argue with Keane & Berba they are class!! And Bent you was willing to pay 18Mil 80k a week for, And as for "mini Judas" as you call him... you also tried to re-sign yet he snubbed you, I know he's only got one goal but how many has Ashton got?? They have played roughly the same mins you know!! Defoe scores 22 goals a Season and if it wasn’t for Keane/Berba would not be overlooked, He doesn’t think he's word class but he has confidence in his ability, and really do you blame him?? Don’t be a hypocrite now..
read the translation, nowhere does artur say he wants to leave this summer.http://www.celticquicknews.co.uk/2007/12/arturs -interview-in-poland-translated.shtml
grow up, artur's been hinting at this for a year now and we shouldn't be surprised, he's a top quality goalkeeper who will obviously at one point in his career want to play in a league with a higher profile where he can earn more money. if he wants to leave then so be it as long as we get the 10-15m that he's worth, if however he should try and rip the club off by leaving under section 17 ala andy webster then there will be hell to pay and we should quite rightly hunt him down and break his legs but until such scenario comes about he'll have my full support.

Had you bothered to look up the translated version of his interview you would’ve seen it’s a non story. But just for you i’ll post it for you. Journo: “ Do you want to move to a great club? Artur: “Celtic is a great club.” Journo: “An even greater one?” Artur: “I know there are bigger teams in Europe, but we are in the top 16 again this season. I have said before I would like to move on from Scotland eventually, I want to continue to develop and meet new challenges. Journo: “Will you move next season?” Artur: “I have been speaking to Celtic about renewing my contract for eight weeks now. The current deal expires in 2009, but Celtic have an option to extend it to 2010. When we part I would like it to be on good terms.” Journo: “It has been reported that you could use the Webster law to leave early?” Artur: “Fifa ruled that after three years at a club, a player over 28 can leave, with the fee set by Fifa. The Webster law is possible, but that would be a last resort, I expect us to come
to an agreement on a new deal. “The reported price of £10m is out of this world, but there is more money in British football than anywhere else in Europe.”
you need to accept the reality that all modern footballers are a bunch of mercenarie looking for their next big payday instead of doing what us celtic fans always do run about telling everyone that this is a made up story from the agenda ridden scots press to cause bedlam in the scots/irish ranks, which in my opinion is a load of sh**e.

Oh yeah..and who will be providing the money?? your mum..its pretty clear that the rift between Rafa and the owners is coz they are not providing enough fund to buy players Rafa need for the team, how much they gave last year?? ONLY 20 millions.
He's Dutch so plays amazing football. Can you imagine him becoming manager then bringing Messi, Ronaldinho, Aguero, Aimar, Joaquin and Jean Claude Darcheville here? It would be heaven.
Boruc never said he was leaving. Typical Evening Times. He did say he would eventually leave, but never indicated it would be this summer. I would guess summer 2009 would be an ideal time for him to go - although if he wants Arsenal they'll have moved on by then to another keeper. I for one hope the Holy Goalie stays longer than he might, great keeper. Really does sum up the meaning of the phrase "Pure Gallus"
Oh yeah..and who will be providing the money??? Momma or whom!! its clear the rift between rafa and the owners were coz they are not providing enough money, how much did they gave last year?? Only 20 millions, rest was funded by selling players, if rafa was not here, we would have never got torres!!
gosh, pk is a hard man... how thrilling
but justin it's you who TAKES the boaby.
