Although the bentley link is pure paper talk, it is possible that he would be willing to join Spurs. His family live in Cheshunt, Herts (a stones throw from WHL) all of his friends are Spurs supporters...not sure where his own loyalties lie...but I would rule out a move if Ramos was interested...that's IF.

"I'm surprised when I see the physique of some of them and the way they run around like madmen. But I have never seen them turn up drunk for training." Which is the bit that goes aginst PLG. The rest of it is just us Scots...work hard and play hard!

Your articles are always full of the most unbelievable "rumours" imaginable? How does this constitute journalism?

More prefabricated nonsense from this website reading through this article. And being a Rangers supporter myself, you are a day late with the Cousin story... if you bothered to read todays papers and even the sky sports website the story has changed direction again. Now with Cousin stating his story has been taking out of context and he'll be doing everything to build on his performance from the away leg in Lyon. Sort yerself oot lads, i've heard better rumours down the pub.

Bently would be a great signing, However I dont feel it would ever happen due to the fact Blackburn always seem to try and double the price of their players and we dont want another Bent Scenario, Id like to see Spurs try and Re-sign Carrick with the arrival of Hargreeves Carrick has become quite a fringe player at Old Trafford, and I personally feel that we took two steps back the day we sold him, Id love to see Matty Taylor sign we also need an expirienced Defender Dare I bring up the name "Judas Sol" ??
by Jamie on December 11, 2007
in response to the previous two comments, at no point in the article that you somehow you claim to have read, does the author either claim these rumours as his own, or vindicate them as being likely to happen. He posts them as a summary of the latest (mostly tabloid) rumours and pours scorn on the vasy majority of them.

if sol comes back ill terre up my season ticket in front of Ramos and run around the pitch naked and get banned for life! Judas! JUDAS! JUUUUUDDAAAASSSSS!!!!!!!
That answers that one then! What about Carrick?

I would not mind if Spurs got Bentley, only that he would be a better pl;ayer than any they already have.

I admit a move to "a bigger club" would benefit Bentley's England chances (well that's subjective as he might not play as much or as there which would lessen his chances) but a move from a club in form to a club that is stuck near the relegation places wouldn't. Also, England don't even have a manager so who know how the new man will pick his players. It's crap basically made up because Bentley once admitted that many of his friends are Yiddos. They get linked with our other winger (MGP) every window so I'm used to it now. One look at how Lucas Niell gets treated should put Bentley off.

Bentley would be an excellent signing in my opinion. I seem to remember that he also said something about Glenn Hoddle was one of his idols as a kid.

First of all: Bently wanting to move to a bigger club? Ha, more like looking for a relegation scrap. But clearly the comment of the day has to go to DazzaTHFC, "Berbatov's better then any player at Arsenal PERIOD!," hopefully you are the only spurs supporter who thinks this or you must all still be on the same stuff as when you were thinking spurs were gonna take us out of the top 4, hilarious.

I can't see it happening in January, but I wouldn't be surprised to see Carrick playing for Newcastle, or returning to Spurs next season. Allergic to graft, he looks good against the likes of A.S. Roma and, umm, Spurs, but he's no United lifer. Bentley is far better off playing in the Sparky System, where he's wrapped in cotton wool. It's no accident that Spurs' wingers are always getting crocked. If they splurge on Bentley, they ought to take Savage or Moekena, too. Huddlestone and Zokora are a pair of powder puffs!

Berbatov - believe me, I am Bulgarian, he is inconsistent and will ever be as delusional any Spud fan will be[/quote]So because your Bulgerian you are best placed to judge Berbatov? Might wanna change your name BTW you lost Sunday remember? I'll admit Arsenal look good but your a bunch of sell outs! not an Englishman in your team! Your Stadium named after an Arab Airline! nothing is proved yet! untill this season finishes, we are finished 1 place behind Arse and 12 places above Spammers, regardless of current form nothing has been decided yet, PPL would do well to start remembering that!

Bitter is the word that comes to mind. Berba is a good player, but would thrive at a bigger club, no doubt about that. Spurs have only finished 5th TWICE in premiership history. No englishmen?? SO??? The arguement with foriegners is null.....they have raised the quality of football here, and they have raised it to the quality required to win anything. England have played better in competetions since foriegners came...not much before that!!! 1966. Regardless of whether Berba is better than any player at Arsenal (i think not) we are a BETTER team. simple! Enjoy trying to get into Europe boys!!!!

As a Spurs fan may I just say that the only thing overseas talent has done is ruin the England national team. Tottenham signed 2 famous Argies many years ago and really got the ball rolling on importing talent. Arsenal have taken it to a new level but at the end of the day (however much this pains me to say) they also have the Trophey cabinate full to the brim. As for this season - no-one could possibly suggest that we've played any worst since the Fat Man left. We are improving and will improve further. Next season i expect some cracking derby games between the 2 teams - you might even let us win one ;-) lol
