Latest: Nery Castillo has been signed by MCFC on a one-year loan with the usual option. Crouch is coming to Maine Road, as is a certain chap by the name of Adriano (despite all the BS). Bianchi will be sent to Inter as px for Adriano, which is why he has hardly been playing...keep him injury free but not make it too obvious the signing was done to get around some internal affairs in Italy by playing him here and there. The Adriano deal was completed in principle this summer, the denials from Milan and Bianchi's putative falling-out with Sven just screens of smoke. The very first comments from Milan over summer were that Adriano was coming to City, in part because of the personal relationship between Sven and Massimo Morratti. A few days later it all changed and claim and counterclaim began. In anycase, a couple of weeks ago, a Brazilian friend of Elano (in manchester on holiday) revealed accidentally that there were two more Brazilians on their way to Maine Road... It's all speculation, but fun.
