Rafa is the best man for the Reds - going for anyone would be a ridiculous decision! The board need to be completely and totally behind their man - not necessarily blindly - but enough for Rafa to know that he is secure and safe!!! RAFA YNWA!!!

He needs to crack the trio of Arsenal, United & Chelsea in the league, particularly United. It's beyond a joke now he cannot seem to manage against them outside the cups. Another toothless display on Sunday against United. 2 points from 9 at home against the other three and we have to go and visit them before the season is out. Couple that with some dropped points in games we are drawing when we should be winning and the odd shocker like Reading and we will never win it. The teams down the bottom have to beat the others around them and it's no different at the top.

I have been a liverpool supporter for over 40 years. I do not think that rafa will win us the league as he never got hold of the english game.Despite having the players he wanted we are in 5th place and already out of title race. he should be replaced at the end of the season

Benitez will be replaced by the special one in the summer mark my words

I don´t think Rafa can win the league for "us" ever. I don´t know who´s next in line, but if it is the special one, i rip my left arm with my Liverpool tattoo off!! I still remember all the sh** he was saying about the reds, when he signed Chelski

Liverpool fans are among the most self-policing, judging by the reaction every time someone suggests Rafa may not be the one to win the Premiership. I don't believe he will, because the rate we're improving lags behind that of Arsenal and Manchester United. It isn't just his management style that makes me think that, but the fact that the club will be run along a more business oriented line, and that is something Rafa will have to appreciate more, as opposed to the owners being told how things work. Of course, many LFC fans scream disloyalty whenever someone speaks their mind.

Beni is not even able to look after the coaching job properly not to mention handling the transfers. That's the big business domain for men not for boys and should be treated as such. All that Beni ever did was bringing those boring old farts with him who always underachieved, his old boy Pepe included. No prisoners in business taken, the sooner they all go the better.

Lousy, lousy article. I have been a Kopite for 20 years. Rafa is the man to bring the elusive title for us. Having laid the fresh foundations and built the team, the finishing touches are now being done. Just like you will only live in a house after it is fully built and furnished, this architect named Rafa Benitez is now putting in the furnishings. All he needs is support from all involved with Liverpool. What you need to do is ask yourself: Are you a fighter like Rafa or a shirker like Mourinho? Ship out if you are a shirker, count in and fight the battle together with Rafa if you are a fighter. The answer for you, your article and all the doommongers can be found here: http://www.rivals.net/news/pgarticle.aspx?artid=2483_2 992070

Hasn't got a clue when it comes to the english game. Toothless premiership displays up front, out fought, out-thought and out-played against Man Utd, arguments within the camp (similar to chelsea last season)... Couldnt beat a weakened chelsea side. Torres would have been better in Italy / Manchester... You guys really need a replacement manager in the Summer.

J*sus dude and you think what we put out wasn't a weakened Liverpool? Fair comments but don't let yourself down with such sh**e at the end, we were both second string for the most part.
