true gary g, we neeed a top class central defender, jargue or someone like woodgate provided he stays injury free will do nice job for us, then a central midfielder who wins battles, sell bent, keep defeo, play taarabt at least every now and again, let him get to grips with the premier league, and a left back like royston drenthe, mix him and bale up in a free playing left wing role, imagine those two coming you from an oppositions point of view. that would put the s*** up any top class defender

ashley young 15m,micah richards 15m

15m for Micah has to be the funniest thing I have heard in a long long while...
Now, thats why we dont usually buy english .. we could pay £5-6m for a solid and very experienced defender, and you reckon £15m for richards is laughable .. now, thats hilarious ... wenger is unlikely to want to pay that much for richards ..

Quality CD: Have to look outside premiership since prizes are crazy and no clubs are likely to sell a class defender to a rival in the mid season. Actually no club are likely to sell a defender that plays regularly in the first team unless he has played bad anyway. Cause selling players brings less profit than getting better positions in premier league. I would say look to germany, tsjekkia. As a norwegian I may put in a good word for Brede Hangeland. He is solid. I suppose spain and italian league has inflated prices to, but Ufjalozi is experienced and available. Forget about bringing in a young talented defender, we need experience. Already have the best france can offer in Kaboul. Maybe we could buy Puyol. A top CD from spain would be great.
£18m for vidic £12m raul of madrid (to play out his career here) -- of course still with the impending acquisitions of that bulgarian, and mputu ...
