Liverpool interest in Barcelona’s Giovanni dos Santos has cranked up the price for all those other clubs – Arsenal included – who want to poach the Mexican wonderkid from the Nou Camp. Arsene Wenger will now have to come up with a huge bid to secure the much coveted youngster (DiarioSport)

Agent Pini Zahavi has apparently made contact with interested parties as Dos Santos stalls over a new contract at Barcelona. Nicolas Anelka is in somewhat of a purple patch of late, so it is not surprising that the French international has been the subject of interest from a great many clubs and now it appears that Juande Ramos at Spurs is keen to put in a £20million bid for the Bolton man (various).

Giovanni Dos Santos is the right man for Arsenal. He is a tricky winger who can play as a striker as well. We need a player like. He is far better than even Ronaldino. I wonder whether Barca will allow him to leave.
