Sigh, it's unbelievable how you guys can take a very positive article written for an american audience (with little knowledge about football and Liverpool) and turn it into something negative. I rly hope all LFC fans read the column at TIA and not this...

How many times are we going to read about this 'new' rift? The Sports Illustrated article has been around all week. It's a positive piece and, in the context of the article, Hicks' comments actually show support for Rafa. He was downplaying the whole thing and saying how 'the media' blow these things out of all proportion. Just like you're now doing, again! Yet again, it shows me how little I can trust the media. You all spin it to make it sound more attractive so mugs like me click on the links.

What is this man on about? I have to agree with the lads above. It was a positive article explaining what owbibg a Premiership club was like to an American market. Nothing about custodians etc. How is he such an expert on the team as with Man U though??? I will say that it is not LFC to keep on hearing more about the Boardroom than what is going on, on the field.

Another rubbish article on this site. i read the interview when it came out and I thought it was very positive. Hicks saying they've moved on etc. It's beyond doubt that Rafa mouthed off a bit in those press conferences, butwhat Hicks is saying is that t's all i the past now. I actually though this interview was one of the more positive things to be written on this issue and there's no need for Jaimie to turn it into some new spat - grow up and stop writing rrubbish, focus on United or something you can probably manage to spin their heads!

Hicks tried to do an interview saying it was a mistake and pointed out that Rafa had that silly press conference and then a load of rubbish was made up claiming he was slagging Rafa off again... The tossers in the press then twist it again and the same rubbish is dragged up and sites like this, make a big deal out of it. Why is it if someone said Liverpool are awesome / going to be given £100 million to spend... it gets pushed to one side. But when there is a slight chance to slag the owners/team/manager off.. the press get straight on to it!! Regarding the comments.. Rafa was petulant that day! Quite embarrassing! But move on.

I'm still upset that Hicks actually gave the media such a BIG chance to distort the story. It's been blown way out of proportion in the past few days. Anyway no matter how positive his comments were I will not place 100% trust in these owners until the team is complete. We can win lots of games, sure, but we need to strengthen the team to win the league. I rather trophies than the new stadium sometimes.

The Irony of Kanwar writing that another person doesn't know what LFC is all about was worth the read alone.

I too believe it is a honor to own the club and it is sad to see someone with no knowledge of the game and no previous love for the club own it on top of it all it is not there only priority
