Weren't Torres and Gerrard injured? I seem to recall those 2, and a third, being unavailable due to minor knocks.

Gerrard, Arbeloa and Aurelio where the 3 injured. Torres was reseted and I think it was a deserved rest. If we cant beat Luton without Gerrard and Torres then who are we going to beat? Rafa put a team out there which should have won, you can say some of the players havent played together before but with the amount they get paid who cares. We could not put two passes together!!!

I WILL TELL YOU WHAT WENT WRONG MY LIVERPOOL FAN MATE DRAGGED ME IN THE BOOKIES BEFORE HAND AND I BET £10 ON A THREE NIL FOR LIVERPOOL. if you cannot beat luton without torres and gerrard, then you are not a league winning team, simple as, its no point being up for the big games, if you are not winning the bread and butter games, which is what rafa is guilty of, i say rafa because that sqaud of first players is as good as man u or arsenal (i think your second sqaud is poor) but rafa does not get the best out of them. and shut up about the champions league he won, as i keep reminding you lot, he won that with gerrard houliers team, he put that team togethre. rafa as sold them all and put together t team of muppets (the core of the team gerrard, torres, charrager and reaina are exept from the muppet remark)

Nothing happened, it was a cup game and as happens the smaller sides play above their station and give bigger sides a run for it. Barsnley did it to United in 98 and at Old Trafford before winning the replay. Bristol City have done it to us, Wrexham did Arsenal I think? Having a completely different side, many of whom had not played together before, particularly the centre of the field will never help. Constantly changing players roles during the game affects cohension too. Bottom line? Rotation is all well and good but wholesale changes (as Rafa always does) is not rotation. Luton played their hand, threw all their eggs in the one basket, shot their load. They had their shot and didn't make it. Don't be surprised when Liverpool hammer them next week
its not that simple mate, if you want amore recent example coventry hammered usat old trafford, and not being funny mate but rafa roatates more wildly than SAF. so dont count your chickens mate. i put a tenner for you guyd to win three nil, i wont make that mistake again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i love it when the so callled mino get a result but against a top four clud that spends like liverpool i can understand frustration...however... this is the f.a cup and theres always shocks involved you must remember that was lutons cup final and they did themselves proud ... well done luton

fair enough mate, i bet you are getting p***ed off with him, i had a fiver on gerrard scoring and a fiver on torres and none of them was playing, whats worse not even on the bench....i here some scoucers saying it was only luton, but i told them they were three one up on you last time, but i get told to shut up i dont know what i am talking about!!!!!

Bizarre that there is inane Man U/Liverpool banter over Liverpool drawing a game, when the real issue is that a real, decent club like Luton are on the verge of bankruptcy.
