watch out for new Ronaldo, Abel Taarbat will get games under his belt and will be one to watch. he reminds me o Ronaldo with his one too many step over skills but with a little experience he can become a real class act. another to watch is Paul Robinson, but that is just to have a laugh at the fact he can't catch and he is soon to be as class as Ian Walker was at the Lane

Hopefully Petrov will start to show some consistency, because when he is on fire, he will rip all defenders to pieces.. will not defend though..

...Ashley Young could find himself one of the most valuable players in the Premiership. He won't flourish for England as I don't think he's a Capello-esque player, but for Villa he'll continue to shine. Expected a rejected bid of around £18m for him at some point in 2008.

2008 will go down as the year when Wayne Rooney finally establishes himself as England's - and better yet - Europe's finest player. Set back twice already this season by injury, Rooney's been in terrific form. Expect Capello to build the England side around him, and hopefully United can win the European Cup and the Premier League!

I think Eduardo will be one to look out for, his finishing is simply amazing, he might have to learn how to control the ball with his chest and not with his arms though.

Tim Cahill - he bangs in the goals from midfield, and will keep doing so all season. He will be the highest scoring midfielder in the prem apart form ronaldo
