I back Rafa 100% - The Yanks should sell to DIC (who we should have sold to in the first place) and Parry has to go too.

He's has my support 100%. Rafa will bring number 19 home as long as we (and by we I mean fans, board, press etc) leave him alone to get on with his job. I love the guy.

Oh yes!!!!!!!! He s got my confidence anyway. The problem is he s not getting any backing to sign the players he wants.

patience is startin to wear thin although i would like 2 see liverpool win the title with rafa his team selections are not doin us any favours if he wants to do the same things as the top teams then play the best 11 every week jus as they do,choppin & changin does the players confidence no favours. i also think this business with the board isnt helpin either an seems to have rattled rafa a bit. However i dont think sacking the man is the right thing to do,if every1 at the club pulled together an put their minds to the job as best they can i really think this team can move up a gear. mascherano should be made a top priority.

Rafa doesn't have the backing of this fan...I do not feel he grasps the pride and never say die attitude this great Club has been built upon...the surrender at Reading with 20 minutes to go was unforgivable....one up front against Wigan not far behind. Loyalt is one thing...reality is another

I have to agree with most of what Sean has said above. I believe the rotation policy only works when you have a squad that is good enough, ours isn't! Aurelio, Riise, Sissoko, Kewell, Benayoun, Pennant and Kuyt are just not championship winning players. They have their good days but mostly they just aren't good enough. Riise has been a good player down through the years, but now his time has come! As for the rest they wouldn't warm the bench of Arsenal, MUtd or Chelsea. Does Rafa need to go? I'm still unsure about this, who out there is better than what we have, Klinsmann, surely not!! If the board did bring in a new manager, are they going to give him the funds to build his side? I doubt it! Lets leave all this talk of replacing Rafa until seasons end. CW
The owners are reluctant to invest and want to supposedly bring in an motivational coach - no need to invest then he presto!!! Rafa is the man, if he goes it's a sad day for the club and another victory for american imperialism (they seem to want a yes man!). He needs to be backed in the market

Rafa is definatley the man for the job but the owners have to go. Although Rafa has spent a bit of money in liverpool terms, he has also recouped alot of that also, with two championsleague appearances and the sale of many players. He has balanced the books, and in heindsight even if he has spent 10, 20 mil plus so what. If you want a quality manager you have to give hime the players to work with, even if some of them dont make the grade then hey lets move on and back the guy cos it will be a sad day if he leaves this summer what then?....

everything seemed to be goin well til gillett an hicks turned up,why should rafa have to leave,he's the 1 that brought back glory to this wonderful club.leave him alone an let him do his job he wants the same things as the fans do, the other 2 are only here a wet day an think they know whats what of management. support your manager!!

the americans are realy messing things up for liverpool i think we should have sold it to DIC in the first place i think hicks & gillet are here to make money out the club and thats it wen they are done they will sell the club.the only other reason nobody trusted DIC is because his muslim i dont think DIC would have changed liverpools tradition.

if i had 2 pick any manager out there to bring us glory then rafa is the man id pick him every time hands down!!people are buttin in where they shouldnt be(GG&TH). they might legally own liverpool but in reality this is our club an if we want rafa as manager, then manager he will be!

the stadium size does count, because it leads to greater revenue, which leads to bigger signings. imagine we have more players like torres(20 mil). 2 upfront, 2 on the wings, etc. Fact is we dont have it. And its harder to compete with clubs that are far richer than us. Its not impossible, but its just much harder. rooney tevez =60million torres kuyt =30million

rumours are that gillett & hicks wants a manager that can motivate. 3-0 down ina champs league final we came back an won it when nobody thought we would.we came back again with an fa cup final win when we were gettin beat, then AGAIN ina Super Cup Final we came back to lift that cup. u want motivation its in front of you gillett & hicks!!

I can understand why fans may occasionally think that things aren't going as well as they'd hoped but getting rid of a maneger of benitez's quality after three or four slightly disappointing displays is madness. If sean has 'seen it all' he would do well to remember how long it took taggart at MUFC to turn things around. bentitez is building a squad aand he must be allowed to continue to do so. Instead of worrying that it isn't quite there yet (I think we can all agree on that) try to think positively about some of the kids he has invested in; Lucas, Pourie, Nemeth, El Zhar for example. Consider our points haul of 82 in 2006 - the best we have ever managed in the premiership -, two eurpean finals and an FA cup on a realtively limited budget (in comparison to man Utd and Chelsea). Try to remember that Arsenal have won nothing for three years but are their fans calling for Wenger to be sacked now? If Liverpool are silly enough to sack benitez they will risk losing all of the good work to date. they will risk b
absoloutly spot on mate couldnt have put it better myself

sack him now before we fall further behind, then at least the new guy has the rest of the season to plan
dc that just goes to show how clever u are mate sack ur manager half way through a season, still in the champions league fa cup premier league. oh how fickle u are glad ur not the manager anyway
by John on January 08, 2008
Some fans mistake blind loyalty to a manager as loyalty to the club - no matter how poor we are in the league. Rafa should be released in June. There is no excuse for our leaggue failure except our manager's failings.
lets see how our season turns out b4 u make rash comments. if we won lets say the champions league as the prem isnt lookin so bright at the moment yous would all be here sayin rafas the man hes the 1.havsome faith is here no fight in you at all. we are liverpool its not over till its over!

From me, but I fear Parry and Hicks especially are undermining Rafa and everything he's set out to do. I don't agree with your assumption that we were abysmal at City. Wigan and Luton maybe. We battered City especially 2nd Half and for a team that's supposed to be the 'bees-knees' at home we were by far the better side....The Strikers (Torres apart) are failing Rafa badly. That and some nouse and guile in midfield. Broken bones to key players (Agger) haven't helped and a lack of form on returning from long lay-offs from Alonso and Kuyt's form is a concern along with the usual suspects who are in the salary comfort zone and haven't performed well enough to wear the shirt . (Riise)...Some of it Rafa's fault but the players should take a large chunk of the blame and the owneras especially, who promised the earth and delivered what we've always had a 25 million pound net spend per season on players. (No more than in Moores' tenure. Typical yanks full of bluster! As for Utd. They have regularly spent more on si
