I have just watched the Luton v Liverpool FA Cup-tie on television - with Cantonese commentary. Scholars argue over whether Cantonese is a dialect or a language, but it is spoken in Hong Kong and the Pearl Delta Region of China which includes the cities of Shenzhen and Guangzhou, both of which are bigger than London.

Table Tennis is considered the national sport and the NBA is very popular, but football still has a sizable cult following. The English Premier League is available by subscription at the cost per month of dinner for two with drinks.

From what I understood, the commentator said that Luton was just north of London and that he didn't know who the manager was because he only had "KB" on his coat. Poor old Kevin Blackwell isn't a world celebrity yet.

'It is obvious that Liverpool's one-touch style needs players who understand each other telepathically'

It is obvious that Liverpool's one-touch style needs players who understand each other telepathically as people have said. This will break down quickly if the players are tired, speak different languages or when they speak the same language but are not speaking to each other.

There was some good approach play but they were let down by the final pass and on another day Liverpool would have shown their class in this area.

No-one speculated on who new England manager Fabio Capello was watching at Kenilworth Road. Could it have been goalkeeper Dean Brill who's one handed save following a deflection contrasted in a simple black and white way with recent blunders by England goalkeepers?

I liked the way Luton used the wings early in the game and the way the full-backs and the wingers defended together, and the way they executed an offside trap effectively just after Liverpool had failed with theirs.

I feel a bit guilty about watching this game for free but I think the thing to do if you feel the same is to buy something from the club's website even if it is just a cheap pen.

Could we have some more club badges on the site by the way? I just chose the one that was closest to Luton in playing style.
