I think Spurs will tramp all over Sunderland to avenge our opening day blunder. Robbie Keane will reach his century, and put 1 more for good measure. Berba will score a header and Malbranque will crack a shot from outside the 18 yard to give Spurs their third 4-0 victory at home.

I believe the boys will shade this one 2-1. However, with such little movement in the transfer market so far, I fear the 2nd half of the season will be as disapointing as the 1st. Without adding a decent center half,an out and out left winger(not Stuart Downing) and a battling midfielder, I think we will live to regret the missed chances at The Emirates, will be rolled over fairly easy at Man U in the FA cup and will sit nid table for the rest of the season. I do think that our only chance of silverware is the UEFA cup. Get rid of Chimbonda,Bent,Lee & Rocha and get some quality in and the 2nd half of the season may not be so dismal. I hope after we beat Sunderland saturday that they have a great run and avoid relegation because I would love to see Roy Keane stay in the premiership. Good luck Roy after we beat you of course.

After 55 years of supporting Sunderland it would take a lot more than a defeat by Spurs to break our hearts. The roller coaster ride we have enjoyed since I first attended at the age of five has left me with callouses on mine so thick it is beyond punishment. You played as well as we allowed you to in the first game of the season and you would be wise not to underestimate us this time. Our position is down to injuries and perverse referreeing decisions and we have surprised a lot of the better clubs. Let us hope rain does not spoil a good days football at WHL. Time you lot got a decent ground.

i think if you knew anything about us alan you would know that a new ground is something that spurs are currently looking at and if you ask the fans around the country which is there favourite ground you might be suprised to know its white hart lane never once have i heard a comment about how nice your ground is!!! 55 years of supporting sunderland! id rather be locked up!

= History. Stadium of Light = half fall and no atmosphere. Alan, go and give Newcastle some of your northern witlessness

Having visited your gound more times than I care to remember and always having enjoyed the visits even when watching Jimmy Greaves decimate us, it remains as easy as ever to get your children to bite. All I had to do was mention the ground as an aside LOL keep smiling lads.
"half fall and no atmosphere" I assume you meant full. Now that has changed and there was loads of atmosphere at our end anyway even if yours was a bit sparce, particualry when we scored against you but seriously crowds have improved despite the fact we are so far behind your points tally what is it now only 4.
