If the Irons have true aspirations of europe, then they need to go buy a prolifc goal scorer, Ashton is having to get fit, Boa Morte and Cole arn't and Bellamy and Zamora have been missing most of the season. The continued 'what if' we have them all fit is getting boring and frustrating, especially when you travel up and down the country paying good money. Time for the new board to put up or shut up about promises of europe, new stadia and champions league football. Keagans revolution and the spuds will just stroll past us in the laegue if we don't pursue the missing link.

I have to say that I think it completely depends on City's attitude and whether West Ham want more than a point from the game. Could be another dull game, and hard to pick a winner as City clearly don't know their best side at the moment. On paper, City have a much better squad I feel, and we can inter-change positions more easily to freshen things up from midweek. If City score first it's 3 points to us. But if West Ham score first its probably a draw. Ashton is a handful though, but at least if Bianchi plays we have a player capable of finding the net. City just seem a little unsettled and I fear that if we don't get our act together from the first whistle then we could drop precious points.

The problem West Ham face is figuring out Petrov, they haven't managed it yet. Also, City's players are more interchangeable on the pitch, meaning we need to sub less to have a desired effect. I hope Sven will have a look at playing someone wide right to stetch West Ham, and tries to persuade our horrible strikers to have a run right at their defence maybe once in the game. City to win, but a tight game. I would say that though. Sven's statement that he is going nowhere, and the Thai Supreme Courts ruling today about the PPP are real boosts to morale that should not be underestimated.
