Oh yer course we are devestated at the loss of someone who can't be bothered to try and fight to get in the team! He has already said that he will not stay at pompy if a bigger club comes in - now for me if i were a pompy fan I would be booing him onto the pitch not cherring him for suggesting that they are a small club that he is using as a p***ing post!

Capital No,Arsenal will not miss Diara for a second, Although he was fantastic while with Arsenal, But still not as good as Great Cesc or Flamini.Diara was not playing arsenal, he hold on too much to ball and tha is not arsenal way of play. Cna't he learn from flowing football between Cesc,Hleb Rosicky and Eboue.I wish him Goodlock in his career. Ola.

i think every Arsenal fan is relieved to see the back of the moany little git. Which 22 yr old comes to 1 of the biggest teams in Europe and moans that hes not in the team, when we have the Brazilian captain sitting on the bench and other quality players who are prepared to work for their place in the team. Nice PROFIT Mr Wenger! hehe

Diarra no doubt is a good player. He is surely going to have playing times which i believe will last for 3weeks.That is when the african legions arrives,he will start playing from the bench and i doubt if he's gonna make the french team to Euro 2008.I am not sure he can displace suley muntari, bouba diop for a starting shirt.Anyway, it pained me when i read about his departure. He his still young and can still hit it big after leaving two big clubsides.

He aint gonna be missed for several reasons stated by many of above contributors. For me, he appear to be a selfish lad who reside above his station. Had he been humbler and patient he would have become a very good player. Now I hear him contemplating a move to a bigger club than Pompey. I'm glag we got rid of him with a substantial monetary gain.

Of course Wenger wanted to hang on to him....and for reasons that no one has dicussed. If Flamini goes at the end of the season, Diarra could have been a lock for his position. He would have had the first chance over Diaby. Lassana had showed glimpses of what he could do in cup competitions and really could have had what it takes to excel with the gunners. But he was a wild horse that needed to be broken.....too many bad passes and charging runs past Denilson leaving the back four exposed. The defensive mid position requires discipline....something Diarra has shown he has little of, with either foot or mouth. He has sadly followed the example of other French greats for the Gunners like Vierra......and he may whine and cry his way into obscurity. Instead.....he should have "parlle voued" with Cliche and Flamini and learned how to wait his turn.

that Terry Henry is good though, he will play for Ingerland soon

Others have covered it, but the lad wanted to play so good on him but we wont miss him at all with Flamini becoming top class.

While BOSS know F16 will resign his contract, D8 better to leave.

Of course not. He's 22 but he's already failed at Chelsea and Arsenal. Well I don't understand this person who says he was fantastic for us. As far as I remember he was only above average just once; Newcastle. In almost all other games he played in, we dropped points. That includes shockers like Newcastle and Boro.
Sorry, the one game in which he was above average for us was Blackburn.

Probably Arsene thought about loaning him the rest of the season, but the impatient bloke didn't want that. Screw him. I'm sure someday he will play in a club like Fenerbache, Olympiakos, Newcastle, or Lyon. Great continental clubs which I respect very much, but for sure not the big clubs that he wants to play for in Italy or Spain.

Diarra is a great player who can fit easily into any team in the world.....he should have played more games for Arsenal.....hes better than the likes of Flamini and Gilberto Silva.....the performace against blackburn in the Carling cup summed his talent up as he was the best player on the pitch who dominated the game.....just ever so unlucky.....I wish he stayed at Arsenal
