I wouldn't like to guess at how many transfers were made in the Premier League at the start of this season. And there's only going to be more with the January transfer deadline not too far away.
Players seem to be coming and going more and more often and it's impossible to try and keep track.
But which one player do you think has had the biggest impact at their new club?
We're not talking particularly about talent, but about the effect their recruitment has had on their new team.

Selling Henry transformed the team. I will always love him, but this would not have happened a) with his presence and b) without Gallas' inspirational captaincy

Where would Liverpool be without Torres?
by Shannon on January 21, 2008
We've had a shocking season, but we've got the player EVERYONE wants!!
Without him you might even be below Spurs! Without Berbatov they would be below Fulham!!

Jones without a doubt one of the best strikers in the prem, £6 bargin

Jenas has got to rank as one of the best, since we signed him we havent looked back, his sideways and back passes single him out as one of the mostcreative players to wear our famous shirt, and lets not forget his engine

signing him for 2 and a half years is the best bit of business this season...he's villa's lion at the back. he'd run through a brick wall to get his head on the ball!!! he'll grab another tonight i hope! up the villa...as for berba...he has the 2nd season syndrome unfortunately for the spurs

No one can seriously doubt the impact that Arthur Boruc has made for the Celtic team over the last number of years both financially and on the field. His saves against Utd, Benfica, Moscow alone have repaid any transfer fee and wages. MacDonald has been a great buy and this is clearly evident by his goals so far this season and his work ethic.

Jones without a doubt one of the best strikers in the prem, £6 bargin
Mate I'm an Everton fan and I think Jones is a class striker and would have him any day at Everton. For us Yakubu has made such an impact and difference first natural goalscorer since Latchford. Why cos he's scored a few headers
Santa Cruz of course. How is everyone forgetting him. Runners up: -anderson -elano -petrov
by joey on January 21, 2008
spurs should of forked out the extra couple of million for petrov, class act, quick, control, his trickery, ability to glide past players and composure makes him one of the best signings. if not him it has to be santa cruz, hes a striker and he cant' stop scoring, what more do you want?
by Brendan on January 21, 2008
Anderson... A class act! And still so young... Even more impressive considering how well he has filled Scholes' role!!!
by Magnus on January 21, 2008
Vedran Corluka, Man City, for sure. Very elegant player. He's very good as right back but I think Sven Goran should use him as a def mid in the future.
by Kyle on January 21, 2008
Your having a laugh! He had an impressive start to the season but once we lost McBride he has done nothing! For us the best signing has been either Murphy, Davis or Hughes! The worst with out doubt is Baird! He is aweful! Petrov is the best new signing in the prem!

Sagna, without a doubt.

david weir for rangers, the guy looks as if he is 10 years younger playin in scotland, an absoulute stick out in scotland makes the rangers defence look reasonable after last seasons performance
