So if you can play that well in ONE game - what about the rest of the games?????? Cheating your supporters!!!!!!!!

Ramos has all the credentials to become one of Tottenham´s most successful managers. But to already speak of overtaking Arsenal is premature. Their youngsters are still a very capable team and stars in the making. It will take a lot of work and time to get to Wenger´s level

Sorry was actauly going to take this article seriously until i saw the source. We've had this all before. Do you reaaly need us to argue about another false dawn for Spurs. Imagine if you lot actually win something. Next thing you lot will believe you will be playing champions league football in the next few years. Please.

There's a line in the Sex Pistols docu-film, the Filth and the Fury that always struck me. John Lydon, expert raconteur remarked, 'there's something about the British, that in your darkest moments, you laugh.' Following last night`s admittedly humiliating turnover to the Spuddies from up the road, it`s time to reflect on the positives: 1. Now we don`t have to go into every North London derby thinking, "surely this has to be their time?" We can fully focus on the fact that we are a better side without factoring in the "sun shines on a dog`s arse once a day" maxim. 2. We can sit back and laugh at the Totts when they inevitably fold like deckchairs in the Final. (Though it probably will be to Chelsea, which will remove all the fun). 3. Upon that eventuality, we can resurrect the "we saw you cry on the telly" chant of 2002 fame. 4. We can laugh when they release their commemorative DVD and "I was there when hell froze over" tee shirts. 5. Birmingham away won`t have to be moved to midweek. 6. When we romp to th
6. When we romp to the treble we can thank the Spuds for taking away the distraction of a League Cup Final, annexed as it is between the two legs of the Milan tie. Arsene Wenger can point to this defeat as the moment that refocused us and turned our season. 7. Tottenham will take their eye off their league form as the Final approaches and tumble back towards the relegation places. Once they lose the final, completely demoralised, they slide further and further as Paul Jewell masterminds Derby`s miraculous escape. Tottenham are relegated. Juande Ramos will point to this game as the moment that turned their season for the worst. 8. Wembley really is a pain to get to, and wouldn`t we all prefer to visit in May, when the weather`s a bit nicer and the girlies wear those nice vest tops? 9. For an example of how inferior the Spuddies are to us, compare and contrast, we are the better team, one victory doesn't make you a great side 10. We really are much happier with the six league points off of them are

One game & one good result against the "weakest" team in the semi finals. All of a sudden THFC are suddenly a great team!!! What a load of bull. You would of lost to eiher of the other 2 semi finalists. Get real & look at your league position. You'll be back to you normal dross come Sunday & the super reds will murder you. THFC a big club - dont make me laugh!!!!!
11. May 1971. 12. April 2004. 13. The fact that 1961 was a really, really long time ago 14. Spurs beat us once every nine years. That means we won`t have to put up with this feeling again until 2017. 15. We signed Sol Campbell……..for free! 16. The Marriott Hotel. 17. Tottenham had a brown away kit. 18. Technically, we can still call it Three Point Lane; no points were at stake last night. 19. The chance to sing "Tottenham watching Eastenders" when we play Milan, we`ll probably mean it a little bit more this time won`t we? 20. It was getting boring beating the Spuds all the time. 21. We don`t care about the Carling Cup anyway. It`s not like we wanted to win it. That`s why we put out the mascots and a selection of Junior Gunners who won the raffle at the last Christmas party. 22. Can I stop now…………….? That's why we are the best you mug

Where is the actual analysis to support why you make this claim? Saying Ramos did it with Sevilla is not really enough to constitute such a bold claim. All this based on one result against a starting team missing Toure, Almunia, Clichy, Flamini, Cesc, Van Persie Adebayor and Rosicky from our first choice 11.
by Spurs4Ever on January 23, 2008
That's the problem with arsenal, if the won last night they'll say "We beat you with our kids", but because they lost "this cup mean nothing to them". one thing is for sure with arsenal fans, they cannot accept that they lost to a much better team.
by DannyMackay on January 23, 2008
One good result doesn't indicate much about spurs' future that other improvements hadn't already indicated. But that game, combined with the first leg, must worry the gunners. The 'only kids' excuse runs two ways. On that evidence their future prosperity lies at the feet of players who were clearly no match for Teemu Tainio and Jermain Jenas. Fabregas gave the ball away cheaply, Sagna was awful, and wallcott looked like he'd struggle returning to the championship. This was a spurs side that has players out (Bale and Zokora), that has been low on confidence for a long time, and has had little stability to build themselves into a unit. yet they tactically exposed such significant flaws in their opponents that its hard to see how experience could fix them for a bright future in top flight football.

its only comes round every so oftern. I would like to say well done to tottenham. "WELL DONE". Now the duck has been broken we can go another 9 years. Thank you.... I would say one thing... Well done to arsenal reserves, you got the the semi of a major comp... Unlucky you didnt get to the final.

by Scooch on January 23, 2008
I decided last night after the match finished that today I would hold my hands up and take all the crap that would be dished out by Spurts fans. You were the better team. You deserved to win in both legs and you deserve to be in the final. It hurts me to say this, but it's true. And I'm not even going to make an excuse about our 2nd string (by the way you listed 3 players there that would start for us, strange coz I thought a team played with 11. I know I said no excuses, but I can't help saying that) Then the writer of this article goes and spoils it completely!!! We've heard time and time again that "Spurts are on the up" and that they're "a top 4 team", but now in a couple of years Spurts are going to be better than we are??? What are you actually basing that on then??? A 5-1 victory??? It was a good victory. But to then come out with the crap about overtaking us in 2 years just makes you sound like any other footballistically uneducated Spud during pre-season. We have twice as many points in the

looneygooner how your hurting. who put the ball in the arsenal net, arfur arfur who put the ball in the arsenal net arfur arfur Tottenham...

How pathetic are spurs players and supporters. The beat a poor arsenal side to reach a micky mouse final where they will get bullied by chelsea and they celebrate like they've won the league. Call yourselves a big club? Ye should be ashamed of yourselves for even givin a s**t about that 'cup'. Robbie keane should receive a life time ban for his embarrassing celebrations. Get a life spurs and stop being so pathetic. WE IS GOING TO SHOW YOUS WHAT A BIG CLUB IS WHEN WE STUFF YOUS AT WEEKEND.
by Paul on January 23, 2008
Toure, Eboue missing well so was Zokora, well end of day tough luck for signing players with priorities that lie elsewhere! we were also missing bale and also played a keeper with little prem experience so cut the reserve team bull and face the fact you were simply outclassed!
by johnno on January 23, 2008
yes we completely took u apart. but u gooner fans must realise that this site is intended to get people who disagree with the heading of the article to spout off s***. this team wasn't your reserves - it was weakened slightly but you had gallas, sagna, hleb, diaby, silva, cesc (for over 70 minutes)walcott (£12 million btw)and bendtner. then you've brought on eduardo adebayour. if you didnt care about this cup why did u sell out in the first leg?? why did your REAL fans turn up for the second leg?? why did wenger put players such as sagna/hleb in the starting 11?? why were the gooners leaving early?? why is wenger throwing everything on to win the match?? and u say you dont care?? yeah it is just one game but after you win a derby you dont stop and say 'actually i won't celebrate as its only one game' do you u plank?? you are a better team than us but theres no need to be bitter about it. most of my my gooner mates have been mature about this saying we smashed it, and deserved to win over the two legs.
