someone to cut our halftime oranges, so young Theo could fit the bill. Being around clearly a better set of players pouring their tea may benefit him. But the Arsenal will still have to pay his wages.

This could be the biggest folp of Wengers tenure, Walcott does not seem to have the self assurance to claim a place in the team and I think the time he has spent on the sidelines has done him more harm than good. He went tothat lot because Heny was there and he promptly left for a big club so he must be wondering what he did! The boy has talent but won't get a chance to show it. He would have been better joining a club that actually plays the players it buys for big prices.

by walter on January 24, 2008
even though we're relegation i wouldnt have him - he's not developed and isnt going to get any better with his manager slating his progress. he was terrible against a spurs defence that has conceded as many as us!!im happier with richardson. sell him to the magpies!!

Clearly has talent but Wenger paying so much for him and Eriksson taking him to the World Cup have both been terrible decisions for the lad. Amazing how the incomparably shrewd Mr Wenger get's the odd 1 wrong without his foreign scouting network to find them for him. I hope as an England fan he comes good and I've nothing against the lad whom I feel sorry for the aforementioned reasons so I hope he get's the point where he can know his position and be effective and enjoy being a footballer again as neither of those things seem true just now. As a Spurs I'm loving the waste of money he appears to be right now. As far would I want him, wouldn't even get on our bench as a striker and don't really need him as back up to Lennon, so no, not really. Hard to see at this point in the season when everyone needs results and instantly effective players who's gonna take on a good with the weight of the world on his shoulders who's yet to prove he can be effective in any position. Best thing for him would've been at least
...and I do hope NWCockerell is joking! And Nate, and all Arsenal fans like him, you're ego, swearing, insults and aggresive insistence on the meaninglessness of Tuesday only gives it more life and give the Spurs fans more ammunition. You got thrashed. In a semi-final. By Spurs. And everybody saw. Your manager behaved like a 2-year-old post match, your fans left early and your players lost their heads. Sooner you admit it, show some courage and respect to your opponents the sooner people will move on. Your team's lack of class in defeat will just ensure this 1 runs and runs.

he could come and join your retirment cillage no problem! we need a pacey player, and some new forwads, so he could temporerily patch this area up. only downer is he came from southhampton. ah well, its nice to be nicking there talnet...
by TheSloth on January 24, 2008
He is highly overrated and to be honest I think he's missed his chance, if he was that good he'd be in the side already, I seem to remember young players like Rooney and Lennon breaking in and staying in the team at his age. A Championship/League One club might take him.
by GoonerC on January 24, 2008
Sorry, spurs fans gloating about walcott being a waste of money is pretty funny- seem to remember you snapping up darren bent for a measly 16 million? Oh and kaboul the donkey for 9? Kevin Prince Boateng for 6? Get a grip boys. One win and you give it the biggun, one win that will be perfectly meaningless when you get done at wembley by chelski. Never mind, always the inter-toto cup for you lads.
How are you Nate? lol. We will be far happier watching the silverware going to North London at the end of the season right past the Debt Stadium to White Hart Lane. Maybe the League Cup, Maybe the FA Cup, Maybe the UEFA Cup. What about you goners, sorry gooners, what you going to win? I know - Premiership? Naaa Manure will win that. Champs League? NO CHANCE !! Never mind you will have to live with your £300 million debt instead !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
..Gooner C, no Spurs fan on here has mentioned the 5-1, apart from Dixon Bainbridge fleetingly. The 1's on here mentioning it, desperatly trying to convince everyone how meaningless it was, are the Arsenal fans. We're here talking about Walcott, as is the title of the thread and if you look on other threads about Bent, Boateng, Kaboul you'll see Spurs fans as vocally pointing out the flaws in those players and the prices paid as anyone. Not getting so brilliantly and revealingly touchy as you have just because the manager you talk up as a genius can waste money just like anybody!
Like every goon I know, they think finishing 4th 30 points behind the league leaders and getting knocked out of every competition by February with or without Walcott, marks them down as being successful. When was it you last won anything? We know when we've been crap and admit it. As for Bent, Kaboul, KBP I guarantee they will make a bigger impact in 2 years time than Walcott has done in his 2 years at the Al Qaida stadium. And they know just like everyone else that they'll blow yet again this season. Wouldn't be surprised if keegan turns you lot over this weekend too.
Spurs4eva, what makes you think you have a chance of winning the f.a cup and we dont? Lets look at the facts- spurs are sitting in the bottom half of the league- with 27 points, arsenal are second with 54- yes thats right, DOUBLE the amount that spurs have. Secondly, spurs go away to Man U at the weekend, a game they will simply fail to win. Arsenal have newcastle at home- where they have a massive chance of winning. Okay thats the f.a cup- the league cup, spurs will not win as they face chelsea who have not lost in the league cup over 90 minutes for about 2 years, and are cleary alot better than spurs, although they havnt quite got double the points in the league. Now we have the Uefa cup, i believe bayern munich are still in it? Along with sides like werder bremen, and psv so again spurs have very little chance of winning- you lost at home to getafe i believe? now lets look at arsenal, second in the premier league with level points, in the champions league 2nd round against milan struggling in their league

You can't just use my response and turn it around you spuds are the living. We just had our financial results and we were briefly the richest club in Britain. We are probably around the 4th in the world, which has taken into account the summer sales and getting the 4 of the 5 highest wages out of the club. Still you foolish spuds talk about us being debt ridden. Everyone is debt ridden owing mortgages that superseed their incomes they spread it over 25 years in buying a house, we have done the same. Well done, you beat our reserves!!! I have praised you spuds on your win against us, you scored 5. Whats that like 5 wins in 20 years against us well done!!! Look at the table after you lose to Man U and Chelsea your season will be over in Feb!!! Not even losers town Europe for you next year! We'll laugh in the CL and to the bank with our big stadium, property and money!!!!

Of course we had a bad year last year- i do not know a single arsenal fan who thinks differently.Dixon Brainbridge- we won the f.a cup in 2005. The year before that we won the league unbeaten. The last time you won something was 1999, against the mighty leicester in the worthington cup, before that 1991? Oh and you have won the league TWICE, we have won it 13 times. The most deluded fans in the world are spurs fans- sheffield wednesday have won the league more times than you!
Now_they're_mentioning_Campbell! My_god,these_goons_a re_really_suffering_after_Tuesday!

HAHA he has ONE poor game and everyone is writing him off??? At his age hes not exactly going to be producing the goods week in week out - you've seen him for the under 21's...dynamite, you've seen him in our 7-0 win in the champions league...dynamite - the kid will be a star. So never mind your smart comments, look whos joint top of the league (without their so-called one man team -Henry) and look whos got AC Milan in the champions leage...you lot are just bitter... oh and on a further note, fair play to spurs the other night, and i mean that, even if it did take nine years!
