We Have this last week?
by Giles on January 28, 2008
We Have this last week?
If you read the piece it states that last week they asked for nominations and hence we have the worst ten list to the right, i am glad to see the Boro strikers i nominated ready to be voted for! Lee is the worst by a mile!
by Graham on January 28, 2008
We Have this last week?
Yes this seems pretty self explanatory to me, it even says they asked for nominations last week which seems sensible as otherwise there would be a list of 300 striker on the right hand side! Dirk Kuyt gets my vote and i'm a Liverpool fan!
by Mike Austin on January 28, 2008
A new contender has entered the competition. His name is Baros and he's signed on loan to Portsmouth.
by Stevo on January 28, 2008
Worst striker in the Prem............be upstanding for Mr Benni McCarthy. So bad that even South Africa dont want him.
by Warren on January 28, 2008
I too am a Liverpool supporter and I agree that Dirk Kuyt is by far the worst striker being that this is not his first season with Liverpool. He is NOT a striker as far as i'm concerned.
by James Smith on January 28, 2008
Rooney or saha buth are lacklustre but Saha misses so many chances so does Rooney but Saha miss phenomenal amounts and could not hit a barn door with a banjo. Rooney just always looks useless cant play a pass or a neither is a great finisher or prolific scorer.
by Markyid on January 28, 2008
Its says that Arsenal have at least one contender, then where is it on the list ? Well my vote is for Walcott. Poss 12mio for that ! 2 years later and he's got worse. And im still waiting for a satifactory reason from Sven as to why he went World Cup which left us short up top. not a fan of Bent yet but at least he has 2 proven season with Charlton.

Yes Bent gets my vote just cos of the price tag to performance difference!!
by yid on January 28, 2008
Funny how this gooner site missed out WALCOTT..HE was nominated by tons of bods!!!
by krkrkrkr on January 28, 2008
Im sorry but what is arsenals contender? Adebayor? Bendtner? Eduardo? RVP? none of them at all. id love to hear of this arsenal contender. adebayor, highest scoring striker in the league. (ronaldo a winger) robin van persie, has been injured and when fit definitely one of the better forwards in the league eduardo about as clinical as they come, cool as a cucumber in the box bendtner, fair enough not a huge tally of goals, but he has yet to get a lot of games or a run of games, and his work for the team is very good.

C. Ronaldo
Funny how this gooner site missed out WALCOTT..HE was nominated by tons of bods!!!
What an idiot you really are! I am guessing the main reason Walcott wasn't mentioned is because he isn't a striker? How little can one person know? You came on this site to make a point and instead you look like a fool! I apologise to other Spurs fans i am not insulting you, just this mug!
Guys like Rooney, Saha and McCarthey have had success in the past. Walcott hasn't had time to prove his worth yet. Dirk Kuyt has been with Liverpool for how many seasons? and scored 1 header and 2 penalties?........hahahahahaha
by John Jenkins on January 28, 2008
David Nugent!

by Sean Pompey Fan on January 28, 2008
Supposedly injured on saturday, not up to this league yet.Dirk Kuyt is a waste of a place in the Liverpool team too.
by sammy on January 28, 2008
dirk kuyt. is he a midfielder? haha
by thick on January 28, 2008
can someone please tell me why darren bent is even on this list?? im a coventry supporter and yeah he cost £18m but hes scored over 50 goasl in 2 seasons, the question is who is the worst striker in the league, not who is the biggest rip off!
He's more like a defender
by Harry Barracuda on January 28, 2008
Surely for the amount of money squandered on him he must be the worst by far - he makes Rebrov look value for money LOL
by DubaiSpurs on January 28, 2008
And now ladies and gentlemen.... the award for worst ever striker goes to: ADE AKINBIYI. What a waste of Big space he was!?!?
by fez on January 28, 2008
bellamy definetly
by sarah on January 28, 2008
the arsnal contender?
im neautral and i think bent is better than bendtner and walcott to be honest
by juxta on January 28, 2008
As a Spurs fan I have no hesitation in nominating Defoe. Severly over-rated, selfish and a liability up front. Bloody useless. Superb kicker of the ball but with as much team awareness as plankton. Good enough for the Championship at best. Just astounded at how many actually rate the boy, even after all the time he's proven to be crap except for the odd goal at the 8th selfish attempt!

A bit like me saying Taarabt is an awful striker, just an example not actually my view
by connor on January 28, 2008
I really think that most of you guys are making a huge mistake; the worst strikers in the top flight would be somebody that has no proven record of any goals. What I don’t understand is that people are voting for Darren bent and Theo Walcott? (Are you telling me that there are not 10 worse players in the top flight that hold a striker reputation?), I personally think that a lot of you guys are just posting to make a name for yourself or something of that sort. Read what your saying before you start writing posts that would be considered retarded by someone that understands what they are talking about.
by Phil on January 28, 2008
8 league goals? 4 came against reading - pathetic against utd in cup. He ponces about as if he has actually achieved something. He'd be a good ball bot at old trafford
by 12 on January 29, 2008
IS ONLY 18!!!! I bet all of you are older than he is but couldn't compete against him if your life depended on it. GIVE HIM TIME!!!! HE'S 18!!!!
by NOODLES on January 29, 2008
It has to be wrap him in wool(cott) gooners are saying he is not a striker well that is true in a way but sven took him to the world cup as a striker ???? bent was well overpriced but the boy wonder £12,000,000 ha! ha!
by manutd 4ever on January 29, 2008
its obvious that the english strikers are the worst. if we look at the top scorers table of the premier league, the first five striker are of different nationalities and most of them are midfielders. where are the english strikers? all injured or what? This lack of strikers cost england a place in euro 2008. I'm not a racist but are we in the premier league? if its continue like this one day we will become like french, where mostly players from africa are playing in the domestic league there and also playing for the french squad.
by Sherief Razzaque on January 30, 2008
About time Liverpool topped the table in something...
by Cahillisagod on January 30, 2008
Dirk "the Face" Kuyt !!!!!!!
by james on February 05, 2008
probably if taken profiles into it only one person dirk kuyt.He is shocking, he works his socks off but couldnt finish his dinner. bent never plays to be fair but i think is a worse version of defoe whos gone well done there board > mr commoli and to ad be honest yiddos adebayor is class act and you would take him any day
