I reckon this is pure speculation, i think he is Newcastle through and through, and with KK on board there seems less need for him to leave. Good piece though

I would love him at spurs but I agree with Francis. He has recently signed a new contract and wihout a clause on his contract I can't see how KK will let him go
by James on February 06, 2008
Where did you get that valuation from?Neither Spurs nor Arsenal will pay that sort of money for NZogbia.
Where did you get that valuation from?Neither Spurs nor Arsenal will pay that sort of money for NZogbia.
I think 12m is a fair valuation, he is very young and has a good level of experience, after all we spent 16m on Bent!
by rui coster on February 06, 2008
I think the days of any player being Newcastle through and through went out the window when you started paying 60k a week to man utds cast offs Even Ant and Dec cant wait to get back to fancy London!
by Chris on February 06, 2008
How is he valued at £12m... Great player but not worth £12m. Would like to have him on board tho..
by Ken on February 06, 2008
Francis and author. Why, prey tell, does having KK on board mean he should stay? So he can lose every game, possibly scrape a draw every one in four. And how is N'Zogbia Newcastle through and through? There's me thiking he's French!!! Give he little bit more cash, offer the bright lights of Norf London and he'll be on his way. KK coming back was always going to be a big mistake, he's already living on borrowed time in my humble opinion. Who are Newcastle anyway, and what do they have to offer any decent player?
by Dave on February 06, 2008
Hate to agree with a gooner but Ken has got it spot on, anyway Keegan will be gone in the summer and then Dennis Unwise will lead them to the promised land of second div football.
Everybody knows KK won't last, the only reason why players go there is because it's easy money pay them £60k a week and underachive no ambition. Mark these words, KK not there for lonf and before you know it Dennis Wise is in charge!!
by Ruprecht on February 06, 2008
£12m... Really? A valuation plucked from the air methinks. Sportingo have a seriously increasing problem with regards to their credibility. A little more thought before committing such drivel to print might be worth considering.
by N'Zogbia on February 06, 2008
Saying that, if i did leave i wouldnt play for those pretenders down at the lane. they only have one decent player and he's going to leave for united.... Arsenal play the right football.
by Pride of London on February 06, 2008
This is another silly beyond silly. It would NEVER EVER be an Arsene-signing! No credibility at all, just boring rumours and specualation. Not that I mistrust spurs to spend big, buy anyone at any price, but even I can't reckon N'Zogbia going to the lane this summer.
by Simon on February 06, 2008
WE DONT NEED HIM!! WE HAVE THE TEAM SORTED ALREADY!!
by Mike Austin on February 06, 2008
Arsenal will never spend £12m on him and they (agents) probably have linked Arsenal to him to get a big bid from Spurs to keep Arsenal away. I would much rather we signed Capel from Ramos' former club as his contract runs out next year and he'll be much cheaper. As for KK, he WAS a great manager 11 years ago but what has he ever actually won? not a dig at the Geordies but just a genuine question. I just can't think back that far.
by Spurs on February 06, 2008
What a stupid story, hes just signed a new contract and if spurs and arsenal wanted him they would have gone for him the transfer market.
by marc on February 06, 2008
ramos is sorting us out he will get capel we dont need n'zogbia up the spurs
by Sid on February 06, 2008
Sorry but I can´t see Spurs wanting him especially at 12m, there are far better players out there for 12m, Berbatov will go I am sure so Spurs will have a huge kitty to buy someone as good or better.
by John Stuart-James on February 06, 2008
Well, Sid, perhaps you know, but if Berb leaves it will just be another indication that the club is willing to remain second best. Surely, Spurs must strive to keep its top players and the supporters need to let that be known.
by Crouching Woman, Hidden Cucumber on February 06, 2008
I agree with John, sell Berb at our peril, forget CL footie forever if we continue to sell our better players to Manure, Chelski or Ar5ena1. Always improve that is the key, buy better not the same.

Good piece though
Wake up mate the rest of the world has, Im not saying Nzogbia will go to spurs, but claiming he will stay because of the Keegan appointment is ridiculous, things are hardly looking any brighter and are very much unlikely to as long as the Keegan fantasy continues!
by Gunner Graham on February 06, 2008
When i heard about KKs 'Second coming'I thought,He may make Christmas at best(he'll be lucky to be there,at the end of the season at this rate!)This is what you get when NUFC let their hearts rule their heads with a'knee jerk' appointment,to appease their success starved fans. It's all gonna end in tears!
by J Gooner on February 07, 2008
Mark - total bull have a look at wengers signings with the exception of Theo AW has very rarely spent loads on players in the past, love your comment "With Kevin Keegan back on Tyneside it’s hard to see why the player would decide to leave now" how about because Newcastle are still as bad as when he left???? or even that they are a second rate team full of has-beens and never-was. If you look at them team it is pretty much the same mob from leeds who got relegated, all they need to do is buy robinson and they will definately go down. Nzogbia-No. Reckon hes more of a blackburn signing, or derby depending on how much the new Mickey mouse owners are prepared to splash. Anyway just Gunner4ever states the window is closed leave it till it opens again!!!
by Stan on February 07, 2008
We've had this boy for a while but he's coming to the Prem next season and he plays either on the left or upfront so we are covered I reckon. Zog on the Tyne is very good but not for Arsenal.
by berbartov on February 07, 2008
newcastle is a cursed club. dnt want any player from that team
by LondonGooner on February 07, 2008
...see the day that Gooners and yids would agree on anything on Sportingo!
