Flamini off to Juventus for free? I don’t think so!

The summer transfer window's only, er, months away but that hasn't stopped the tittle-tattle and gossip. Rumours are flying over the Arsenal star who could be heading to Italy.

Reports are suggesting that Juventus are very close to landing Arsenal midfielder Mathieu Flamini (Corriere dello Sport).

The Frenchman is out of contract in June and is stuck in negotiations over a new deal. This speculation has been going on for some time now. I think it is pretty fair to say that Flamini has been in fine form this season and it would be odd if he chose to leave the Emirates given that they are sitting pretty at the top of the table and challenging for multiple honours.

Given the time it took for the former Marseille man to unseat Gilberto Silva from the Arsenal side, it would make little sense if he packed it in now and headed for Serie A. The 23-year-old is at his peak and he is one of the most valuable parts of the Gunners jigsaw. Arsene Wenger knows it and therefore I am sure he will make Flamini an offer he would be hard pushed to ignore.

Rest easy, it will be Gilberto who heads for Italy and not Flamini.

But until he signs on that dotted line we won't know for sure! He's been immense this season and the closest thing to someone like Gattuso i have seen for a while, the flamster is more mobile than the Rhino though!

Silly boy you must not have been watching Flamini blossom into a top rate midfielder this season , it would be a real shame if he was allowed to leave !! and anyway who would you play in his position ? surely not the worn out Gilberto ?

i am proud of arsenal b/c i am very happy now be strong ok i got one que why arsenal team is buy anthor players i wante win fc and preameleage i know we win manchester game i am always with you arsenal i like that team what about filamunu please we wante flammin he abig player we miss alot of player but still we are fine now i don't wante go filammini i leave in hackeny any way good lack to every one
