bryan, u are definaley right about that. the only reason i dont want him is the fact that we have lots of strikers and future strikers... eduardo, rvp, adebayor, bendtner, walcott, vela... he would definatly prefer playing week in week out. i doubt that he would be able to break the the partnership of ade/van persie or adebayor/eduardo when rvp is injured. but would love him im the epl!

If we spend 20m on a player, something Arsene has yet to do, in a position where we have youngsters coming through, will it send the right message? Arsene resists buying because of the talent coming through- we have Ade, RVP, Eduardo, Bendtner, Walcott and Vela who can play up front and all of them are under 24. Although I rate Benzema, I cant see it. A left winger is more of a priority, as well as a right one to replace the erratic Eboue

Spot on, as much as i would like to have Benzema, he isn't really needed. I hope he doesn't go anywhere else in the Premier League though! Especially to Liverpool, mind you who would want to go to Anfield now!

All our players are quality, however with EPL getting tighter by the year we need not to be about a team with ‘potentially’ quality players. We need players that can perform week in week out. The top 7 teams can break into the top four. The last thing we would like to see is Spurs above us.. Heaven forbid!

Real Madrid is a more likely destination, Wenger wont spend 20 million whereas Madrid would be happy to double that, just look at the business Lyon do and have done, Malouda and Essien 25 mill or more and 28 yr old abidal for 15 mill, whereas Real also bought Pepe for 30 mill Euro when they could have had him for 2 mill 2 seasons previous. For one Benzema has not been quoted as EVER saying he'd want to go to Arsenal, not even once!! He said he didn't really want to go to the EPL, but said ManU could be choice. He also spoke of Madrid, Milan, Inter and Barca. He never has once said he'd even think of a small club like Arsenal (at least win two CL, and 15 league titles, lol!). Also what even makes you dream you have the money to purchase him!? Arsenal are BROKE, which is why they have to rely on steal youth from La Liga teams, and purchasing no name prospects (wishing on a star). Get your head out of the clouds...
