We are no were near equal with the likes of liverpool, with the squad they have they have title aspirations every season, but slowly the gap is closing.

your right about one thing, were not playing our best. you are yet well will get 4th show s you how good you are, were playing s***e, yet were still better than you, blue nose,,

...they rob from their own fans...and throw paving slabs at peoples heads!.. ....and you want them to acknowledge that they, dispite spending over a hunderd million more than us over the last few years......aren't doing as well as their local rivals....who provided them with a hand-me-down ground....which is the only home they have ever known!.... .....it would take a certain amount of class to do that....and they simply don't have any.......!

Maybe because last time they fell at the first hurdle, and then got thier a***s felt by a Romanian side? That is just one reason Liverpool fans find your club amusing....

you're trying too hard to incite a response of "you're s***e" etc. If Everton finish fourth it will be because they deserve it, if they win a cup, it will be because they deserve it, the difference is, when Liverpool win a cup all we hear from blues is how lucky we were, if we finish second or third, it's down to luck. We're miles behind United and Arsenal this season, but in Rafa's 3 seasons so far we're finished about Arsenal twice. The difference between Everton and Liverpool is, Liverpool are disappointed with fourth, Everton would be ecstatic.

This site is utter cr@p. When are you going to start writing decent articles?
by Steve Smith on February 12, 2008
Well in mate, this site is pants. I can't believe what I read half the time. People seriously should look into the employment of the people behind it. "Utter cr@p"

Let's face it LFC have been living in the past for years. Better to hold up banners reminding themselves of past glories than contemplate a bleak future. EFC deserve credit for pulling themselves back from the brink and assembling a good squad for a fraction of the money LFC have wasted. Respect to Moyes. LFC will never be a top 3 side.

A team trying to break into the top 4? No problems with that. Are we bitter, not at all. Every team should aspire to be better than they were last year etc etc etc. As for a year in the sun? Don't you mean 180 minutes like your last CL time? A EasyJet flight is in Europe longer than you lot were.

Everton in Europe, the road to Villareal! What more can be said. If Everton do well, that is fine. Just seems to me you are all obsessed with us reds. We need to play better, simple. However, I have a feeling the league will resume a more normal look by the end of March. As to Everton, same as Citeh, Spurs and Villa really.

Why are the blue half soooooo bitter? Get over it boys, you're a bunch of smalltime hoofers. You refer to the penalty that never was, yeah it might have been one, but LFC were robbed against Chelsea, so swings and roundabouts pal. You won't finish 4th anyway, you're cr@p.
by AK on February 12, 2008
Yes there might've been a couple of dodgy decisions in the Merseyside side derby, but if you are playing that card, there was, I believe, a remarkably dodgy decision when the Chelsea came to Anfield....

Terry - Great stuff mate - you are 100% right mate - we get absolutely no credit from the RS, and they constantly call us bitter when in reality we are just starting to be competitive. You watch, the better we do, the more scared they'll get, and the more they'll call us bitter.

In for a week and out for 10 years, in for a week and out for 10 years, in for a week and out for 10 years, Everton in Europe. . . . . To the same tune . . . Out of Europe twice in a month, Out of Europe twice in a month, Out of Europe twice in a month, Everton in Europe!!!

You should look at the table for the last 5 years mate and see how many times we've finished in the top 3. READ IT and weep pal.

As, for your comments on liverpool supporters not giving everton any credit, i myself live in the city and can tell you since i have been a supporter of lfc the vast majority of evertonians have never given lfc any credit, you have to earn credit but lfc's success has never been recognised by everton.pot kettle&black spring to mind.
