Rumours: Fergie's £50m Manchester United splash
Sir Alex will get a close look tonight at Lyon's Karim Benzeme and Hatem Ben Arfa, two of the players he's about to sign - if you believe everything in the tabloids.

They’ll have to extend the car park at Old Trafford as far as Stockport if Sir Fergie ends up with all the players linked with Manchester United.
Tonight’s first leg clash with Lyon in the Champions League puts the French club’s dazzling strike duo of Karim Benzema and Hatem Ben Arfa firmly back in the shop window.
Ferguson – who has never concealed his admiration for France’s two hottest front men – was at it again yesterday, praising them to the rooftops, which sounds more like the usual Glaswegian mind games rather than any firm offer to buy.
Still, the papers would have us believe that being nice to the opposition is tantamount to rubber-stamping a £35m deal for their two star players next summer. After all, how often is Ferguson nice about anyone?
Slightly less unbelievable is the Daily Mirror’s claim today that a £15m move for Sporting Lisbon defensive midfielder Miguel Veloso is on the cards after glowing reports from United’s spies in Portugal.

It isn't the best for breaking sports news, but i think the writers do a good job of summarising what is in the tabloids in a critical way. Most of the people who come on here and get angry about an article and just start swearing at each other are not fans, just idiots who do nothing but feel big by arguing with people over the internet.Losers.

To be honest how many times have we hears this information before? However I was still entertained by they abuse which occured yesterday. Its a shame these people cannot put the same amount of effort into getting off of the dole as they do when slagging each other off! Its like standing outside the job centre and watching all the drunks get rowdy with each other, brilliant!!
