Is Arsenal manager Wenger the biggest hypocrite in football?
The boss labelled 'Professor' and 'Genius' has a selective thought process when it comes to offences committed by his own team. The names William Gallas and Justin Hoyte might help jog his memory.

''I did not see it!'' Time and time again you fail to see it, Mr Wenger, don't you? You see whatever you want to, and when it's against your team, you hold no bars in the condemnation of whoever the perpetrator is, don't you?.
How about that you and I sit down and watch a re-run of some of the matches Arsenal have played recently? Together we can analyse YOUR team's behaviour, and perhaps you can then comment on the outcome.
How about, for example, the recent game against Manchester United; perhaps you'd care to explain why you failed to see William Gallas trying to hack down Nani, not once or twice, but several times. Fortunately for Nani, he was incompetent, as was Justin Hoyte. I say fortunate because, unlike Emmanuel Eboue's tackle on John Terry, they failed to connect.
Eboue, however did, and the guess what? Yep, you didn't see it!.
How about Emmanuel Adebayor's assault on his team-mate? Not only did you fail to se it, but neither did the ref, or the panel for that matter. Luckily for the rest of us, we did. How about explaining why YOUR side have racked up more red cards under your reign, irrespective of the players past or present?
No, Mr Wenger, you my friend are many things; Le Professor, Genius are names associated with your style - but I think Hypocrite is the one that most suits you!
How refs cannot see the little niggling fouls your forwards constantly give away when losing possession is beyond me. They aren't enough to warrant admonishment from the officials, but give the team enough time to get back.
How about YOUR spats with Messers Curbishley, Ferguson, Jol and Mourinho? Strangely enough, they were all events that happened when your team were losing - or was that merely coincidence?
Doubtless to say, many of your admirers will defend you to the hilt, and I can see it from a fans' perspective also. But let's not get into the realms of fantasy, let's look at the facts, eh? And when you get down to them, you Mr Wenger are a hypocrite plain and simple.

You don't know what you are saying. None of the Arsenal players tackles broke anyone's leg. Easy to know you are another jelouse spurs fan. How many titles and cups has Wenger won at Arsenal? More than spurs have in their whole history. Nuff said!!!

i believe you must be referring to his life ban comment on taylor, guess what? he admitted he over-reacted in the heat of the moment, and why did he see that foul? because everyone with working vision saw it, the gallas vs nani incident was disgraceful, but don't you find it strange that ferguson also stated that NANI was doing the wrong thing. As for the Eboue vs Terry he admitted that Eboue did the wrong thing after seeing the replays, http://www.dailymail.co.uk/pages/live/articles/sport/f ootball.html?in_article_id=504065&in_page_id=1779 just like the taylor comment he made after watching the replays.

The writer of this piece is obviously off its rocker and very jealous of Arsene Wenger and The Arsenal in general.

In my opinion, Arsene Wenger has some serious credibility issues. For me, he went down a great deal in my estimation after his childish behaviour at Old Trafford back in 2004, when he allowed his team to start throwing food at the opposition manager after losing a game fair and square. Every time Arsenal lose a game, the toys come out of the pram. Remember Henry's behaviour after the Champions League Final defeat against Barca. How many times has he resorted to saying his team got 'kicked off the park' after a defeat? I think its such a shame that a man whose teams play such wonderful, wonderful football has so little class...it undermines much of what the Gunners have achieved. The last eleven years or so since he took over at Arsenal have been characterised by ill discipline and petulance. I think some of this is down to his paternal managerial style. It looks like he indulges his players to the point where they have very childish mental attributes. Its a shame.

The worst hypocrite is Sir Alex Ferguson, but even he would acknowledge, as Spurs fans apparently cannot, that this was over the top. Clearly the biggest hypocrites in football are Spurs fans, or at least the most morally depraved and least in touch with the realities of life.

FUNNY STUFF BOY!....The thing is AW may not come out in public and collar his players about their discipline problems, instead he may chose to do so behind closed doors. Did that notion even run thru your head? TRY not to shoot for the obvious conclusions next time.
