Spurs fans, no doubt still recovering from the excesses of celebrating their marvelous win over Chelsea in the Carling Cup final, will be in a tender state right now, so this is an interesting rumour to digest!
They will be more than aware that Sir Alex Ferguson would be ecstatic if he could prise Dimitar Berbatov from White Hart Lane and he now apparently has a cunning plan!
The Scot knows Juande Ramos needs a keeper so he is planning to offer his young stand-by keeper, Ben Foster, in part exchange for the Bulgarian ace (The People). The Manchester United boss will offer £20m plus Foster for Berbatov, which is very interesting.
A few questions though, given that Berbs is valued at around £32m by Chelsea. Surely Fergie doesn’t think that his 23-year-old keeper is worth in excess of £10m? The former Watford loan keeper is good, but he’s not that good!

Yet again! Berba for any 3 from Brown, Fletcher, Foster and Saha, plus a box of chalk and some old programs. If Berba insists on going Spurs should do what Utd did to Liverpool when they wanted to sign someone only let him go abroad.
