Rumour: Liverpool want £10m Arsenal and Man United pair
Wes Brown still hasn't persuaded Sir Alex Ferguson to come up with the £65,000 a week he wants. He could leave for nothing in the summer!

According to some cheeky reports, Rafa Benitez will attempt to invest in three new targets in the summer as he expects to have sufficient transfer funds following the planned takeover of Liverpool by DIC (various).
First up is Manchester United defender Wes Brown who, as we all know, is after a huge pay rise to stay at Old Trafford, and one which it looks like he won’t be getting. Then of course he will be free to join whoever he pleases at the end of the season.
Obviously there is no love lost between the two clubs, especially after Sir Alex scuppered a deal to bring Gabriel Heinze to Anfield last summer. Brown has been in fine form this season and has gone some way to proving his many doubters wrong.
The England international has been a good servant to United but may see his future elsewhere and that could well be in the Liverpool back four, or maybe not? Would Reds fans have a problem with Wes joining them? He also has reported interest from Newcastle.

If Diaby is unsettled i would like him at Liverpool, but not sure that will ever happen as for Wes Brown i think not!

Diaby is a very talented footballer but I doubt he would make the first eleven regularly at liverpool... he has more of a chance at Arsenal. I hope he doesnt leave arsenal beacuse, i think he has huge potential and arsenal is the right place to full that potential... with gilbetro leaving in the summer i think he will stick around... hopfully

That Diaby quote is from just after the Derby game when he scored a belter. He's just signed a contract until 2014 - just to give your readers with an accurate account of Diaby's present thoughts.

Come on be serious Brown is one of the most overrated players in England...we do not need him, as for Diaby, well if he wants to be on the bench most of the time, than he's welcome

he has a long term contract freshly signed and moving to Liverpool would be a step backwards currently. As it appears Arsenal are in a much better position to challenge effectivly for the titles that matter. Not "bacofoil" cups like the spuddies win once (yes once) every 10 years!
