Newcastle United - a club built on false hope and empty promises
Has there ever been such a badly managed or ill-advised club on this planet? They need more than Kevin Keegan's quick fix.

Having grown up in Newcastle from the age of 11-18 I feel I can comment on a club that I inevitably hold a soft spot for.
I still can't believe the shambles that is Newcastle United. The genuine love, support and passion with which the Geordies show is beyond the call of duty. They have been treated like a bunch of fools for way too long.
My best mates are Geordies and I'm now afraid to e-mail them or phone them to talk football. Let me say right now that this article is not in any way aimed at Newcastle's fans. They deserve and need more. The arrogant, money-obsessed idiots who run this club should take a long hard look at themselves, and the likes of Freddie Shepherd before them.
These chairmen/owners past and present have hyped up Newcastle so much over the years that they have unfortunately brainwashed their massive support that they are deserved of a Premier League title. The euphoria that is whipped up on Tyneside is ridiculous.

Who would swap places with KK now? Allardyce was not given enough time if they thought he genuinely could turn things around. Keegan will need time, you are correct that there is no quick fix. Wish there was.

Newcastle fans are not strong enough to get the board out and they are too busy feeling sorry for themselves.Things wont change trust me.The whole of NFC needs a good shrink to change the mind set up there.

The NFC fans should show more loyalty to their club instead of complying constantly in BLIND faith or what is normally called stupidity.Look at history only rebels ever changed the status quo.The problem is due to real loyalty the are letting the club stagnate! If they are genuinely concerned about things the would stop being so egotistical and rebel against the situation up there. But they are not LOYAL enough to NFC.

Loyalty breeds failure and abuse. The necastle fans have a pride in their loyalty thinking that its a good thing to be loyal.no loyalty is a sickness borne out of people who are not concerned.the necastle fans need to take more responsability up there.Loyalty is laughed at down here, its for non thinkers, the blind. We in Birmingham show concern not loyalty,we dont take abuse from the owners.

lol i laugh every time i read a new article about Newcastle. People comment on how our fans get managers sacked all the time, its our fault for poor performances etc etc etc....none of these people actually experience anything in newcastle!! If they did they would realise its an sobolute joke to even claim this! Get off the Newcastle bashing bandwagon for a change will you's!!
