Lampard's red-card reprieve smacks of favouritism for Chelsea and the big boys
The FA's explanation that "everyone gets treated the same" sounds hollow when you look at the video footage.

Over the past few weeks, more and more clubs have been appealing against yellow and red cards. But none of them seem to get anywhere as the FA always protect the referees and assistants. Unless you play for Chelsea, it seems!
Somehow, the Blues have made a breakthrough with Frank Lampard getting his red card rescinded. How is this at all possible?
I watched the match and the England midfielder stamped and kicked out at Luis Boa-Morte, had a cheeky swipe at him as they stood up, then appeared to utter "Your dead" to him as he left the field.
All of this was screened and shown in various replays that surely the FA must have studied over and over again. Just who is making these decisions?
Last week, I watched Javier Mascherano grab Jeremie Aliadiere by the throat and the Frenchman retaliate with a girlie slap. Aliadiere gets sent off, Mascherano plays on. Then the FA responds with "everyone gets treated the same."
Please, please, just admit there is one rule for big clubs and another for the rest!

This is not about big clubs, this is about the heatrid and jealousy in England for foreign players, leading to protecting thugs like Lampard, Rooney, and Terry at any price. Rooney ranted 47 swear words at Graham Poll on camera when watched by hundreds of millions of people WW, but easily got away with it!

Since when have you been able to appeal against yellow cards?

Clearly your a west ham supporter! how many times this season have the so called big four tried to get red cards recinded? a lot, this is the first time it was actually justified, virtually everyone else on planet earth agree's with the decision apart from you! so if lampards was a red then was boa-morte's kick at lampard also not a red? me thinks either your related to the linesman who could actually see nothing and just guessed or you are the linesman, clearly you know nothing about football and should have gone to specsavers, mug!

our FA is a joke, aliadiere shud have got a stern warning, or a yellow card as shud mascersno, the fact that gallas essien and lampard got the benefit of the doubt shows and proves that the FA has one rule for the top four and one for the rest of us. Ok lampards shud have been rectified however how come aliadiere got an extra game ban, if need be just reject the appeal but to add an extra game is a disgrace as are the idiots incharge of football in our country.

Did you even bother to read about both scenarios of which you speak? Lampard's red card was rescinded because the alleged offense the linesman claimed he saw committed didn't take place. As for Aliadiere, I think you'll find he had his nose tweaked.
