Unbelievable! Shock defeat baffles Rangers boss Le Guen

Rangers were booed off the pitch after losing to struggling Dundee United 2-1 on Sunday and falling 15 points behind leaders Celtic in the Scottish Premier League title race.

The result baffled Ibrox manager Paul Le Guen, who told the BBC: ‘’It is unbelievable to lose such a game. I am so disappointed because we controlled the game. We had so many chances but we needed a second goal to be at ease...with a second goal I am convinced we would win.’’

United bounced back from a goal down to win with two goals inside five minutes and give new manager Craig Levein a dramatic win in his debut game in charge. Rangers opened the scoring after 50 minutes when Charlie Adam swept home a six-yard shot from Nacho Novo's low cross from the left. But United surged back and on 77 minutes Garry Kenneth headed a Barry Robson corner down and through Rangers keeper McGregor's legs. Lee Mair then glanced in a six-yard header from a deep Craig Conway free-kick to seal the points.
