Brian McBride’s flying header secured a crucial victory for Fulham at Craven Cottage on Sunday.
Even though Everton looked tired after their midweek exertions against Fiorentina, it was a huge three points and a fine performance from Roy Hodgson’s side. This was only Fulham’s fourth win of the season and has come at a most crucial time to perhaps kick-start a great escape.
