Motherwell Football Club seem to have been through a lot of stress and emotional trauma this season particularly with the sad death of Phil O'Donnell during the match against Dundee United on December 29.
The club seem to have been predictably adversely affected, not just by the death of their captain, but they seem to lack leadership on the pitch.
The Fir Park club seem to be struggling more and more as wins are becoming hard to achieve for the team. The constant negative publicity around the state of the club hasn't helped and has adversely affected the team from playing good football.
Mark McGhee has been doing an excellent job given the limited resources available. Time will tell whether or not Motherwell will regain their form and finish in the top three.

Motherwell have the makings of a decent side under McGhee. He's got them playing some lovely stuff.I think they need an experienced keeper and a decent centre back tho'. I think you'll upset the Ibrox legions by taking something from the 2 games. But I still think Aberdeen are in with a shout too.Hibs will falter and Dundee utd blow hot and cold. Good luck anyway. "God Bless Phil"
