The EIGHTEEN players Liverpool, Spurs and Arsenal need to offload
Anfield's revolving door is getting clogged up, Tottenham have a problem with the lethargic Dimitar Berbatov - and William Gallas's attitude stinks.

Over the last five years both Spurs and Liverpool have spent massively on new players, while Arsenal have bought players and moulded them into Premier League stars.Liverpool have brought in some 49 players since Rafa Benitez’s arrival and although he has sold 48, I’m not sure just how many clubs actually need a total of 60 players on their books. This is a massive turnover of players. Some were only at the club for what seemed like a few weeks, then were moved on, which is all very strange. But it has left the club with a massive wage bill. Some players never get anywhere near the first team and there has been a lot of dead wood.Just looking at the first team from Sunday's derby match, the players I feel don’t look good enough or are past their best would have to be Sami Hyypia, John Arne Riise, Martin Skrtel, Lucas Lieva, Dirk Kuyt, Yossi Benayoun and Jermaine Pennant.Spurs players are not performing much better after a massive investment by the owners (losing 4-1 at home to a very poor Newcastle side on Sunday is an example). If I was a Tottenham fan, these are the players I would be looking to offload...Michael Dawson is very over-rated; Didier Zokora only seems to perform when it suits him; Steed Malbranque was lucky to get a move to such a good club but has let Spurs down; Teemu Taino and Aaron Lennon have both been in and out of the team and look out of their depth at this level. The other player would be Dimitar Berbatov. There is no doubting his ability and I might be being a bit unfair here, but he just looks like he picks his games to me.As for Arsenal, I would replace Manuel Almunia, who is not one of the best five keepers in the league, Phillipe Senderos, who I think is lucky to be at Arsenal, William Gallas, because I think his attitude stinks, Abou Diaby because he isn’t up to it and looks lost sometimes, and Nicklas Bendtner, who is average at best.

You were watching another match!! Skrtel was man-of-the-match. Hyypia wasn't too far behind him! I guess your one effort on goal showed how bad Skrtel played! I see there's no-one Everton need to offload, or didn't you have enough time to type in all the names! Sad you have to have a go at other teams before looking at your own.

Was a select Artcile under the Hedaing, Which players do you think Liverpool, Arsenal and spurs should get rid off, it doesnt mention Everton, hence the reason I never. We hav eplenty to get rid off, and as for skrtel, he had 1 striker ot mark all day dues to our huge injury list along with 3 other defenders and two defensive midfielders, hardly breaking ice with his bare hands there is he.

Senderos has been solid for the past few months , even better than toure and thats saying something, Gallas is a good captain and so what if he shows his emotion , i would rather him get upset than to not give a shit and walk off the pitch. Bendtner - Hes 19 give him a chance. get your facts right.

You obviously haven't watched Arsenal that much because Almunia has made maybe two mistakes all season that I've seen. This season he's been as good as anyone, mainly because Cech has had a dodgy season. Senderos looks out of his depth at times but over the last two months has been Arsenal's best defender by a mile. Diaby is a central midfielder who's been forced to play on the wing and is the grand old age of 20. Bendnter's scored something like 6 goals in 10 games for Denmark and is again the grand old age of 20. You haven't even mentioned the one player that virtually every Gooner thinks isn;t good enough for the team - Eboue. Pretty weak effort all round.

Martin Skrtel not looking good enough? Do you have a clue at all? Skrtel is improving all the time and considering his modest price he`s a steal. Fast, strong, brave, good touch. In time he`s an ideal replacement for Carragher. Get a grip.

Ok, so im guessing u were watching the wrong match.. I suppose i would have closed my eyes as well if i were a Blue Nose going through that painful ass raping we gave u... Skrtel was immense, i mean what did the Yak get to do?.. Oh yeah, i remember, he got to moan at everything the rest of your team mates did..Cos he got nowhere.. And Lucas? The lil kid has kept out Alonso from the sqaud for many games this season, and not only is that a massive achievement, but its also his 1st season at Anfield..Hyypia is a veteran and 'if in doubt, take them out'...Gave the Yak a good seeing to. Riise is Ginger, so leave him alone, Kuyt set up a brilliant goal, or should i say, a shocking clearance from the Yak. Yossi only had a few minutes on the pitch, so if your judging his exit by his performance then u have more issues than a blind 1legged virgin with viginal warts. Think about the players your team need to get rid off b4 cracking a whip on the Reds... How about this for thought, maybe you should get rid of the YAK!!!

What are you talking about??? Lucas is one of the most promising youngsters in England and Skrtel has been immense replacing Agger and is great replacement for Carra in the future...and I'm sure Everscum would love to have players like Benayoun, Pennant, Risse, Hyypia, and Kuyt and not the choke artists that put one shot on goal yesterday...

I agree with you slightly that we do have some deadwood to get rid of Pennant , Kewell , Kuyt , and Itandje however I wouldn't swap any of these rejects for any of Evertons squad . ps. get your own house in order before you start commenting on other teams mate.

HOW CAN YOU NOT LIST EBOUE?!!? GET HIM OUT OF MY BELOVED CLUB!

With the exception of Huddlestone the whole Spurs midfield should be replaced, and make sure Jenas is the first, absolute nothing of a footballer. Lennon when he came on the scene looked the part, but he also is a major no no
So Skrtel needs to go because Everton played with one up front? Only now is Cryboy climbing back out of Skrtels back pocket, and taking his teddies with him. Might as well get rid of all our back 4 because Everton never attacked. Great logic.

people spotingo need to get rid of........................................

Steed is a legend who plays with passion and is good on the ball, his past few performances havent really shown what he is capable of but this season he has been fantastic and consistent. Jenas should go- overrated and needs a kick up the ass. Daws is a good defender yet needs leadership- he will develop with woodgate and king when they are fit. Lennon needs to improve his crossing but dont get rid of him, mould him. Tainio is a squad player but solid and dependable- look at arsenal and the job he did in the 5 1. Zokora is a good player but still looks like he hasnt found his footing, he needs to be starting his run 15 yards farther up the pitch and his tackling needs to be more ferocious but dont get rid of him, again let him adapt. Tom huddlestone should be starting matches in the centre he is superb. This atricle leave a hell of a lot to be desired as I have clearly ripped it apart for sports. Skertel is young and looks good, its not his fault that Everton were useless and inept was it? Almunia has done well for arsenal this season and made some fantastic saves, this article smacks of the bitter Everton fan looking to pick on other clubs rather than getting his own house in order. Write an article on the lesser team in merseyside and maybe something intelligent will come out of it. Till then please refrain from articles like this on a site which must be circling the drain by now

yawn
How can you call Malbranque a legend, hes hardly a Hoddle or a Gazza, in my opinion hes an overated average midfielder, that even when hes playing well doesnt set the world on fire, and he wouldnt get a sniff of a game for the top teams. Spurs need a midfielder that can take control and make things happen for the front two, we dont have such a player only Jenas, and for those supporters old enough I remember Gary Stevens, he looked the part but never delivered, roll foward the clock and now we have Jenas

The people on this website only write stuff to provoke a response, most of it is irrelevant duplicates of other articles and nearly all the time inaccurate.

This is a typical article from somebody who comments on teams that they know nothing about. I wouldn't presume to make a comment about Arsenal for instance because I don't watch 90 minutes of every Arsenal game. Skrtel and Lucas are both young players who have managed to settle into the Premiership quickly. They may not be the best in their positions in the team but with a manager like Rafa I'm sure they will be up there in time. Sami has shown that even though he is like 1000 years old he can still show consistency week in week out when he is called upon (before Skrtel was bought and after Agger got injured). Riise has been at the club a long time, has great energy levels and is and has been a good player for us. Not everyone in the team needs to be a superstar. He has had a bad season but is playing much better at the moment and a lot of players go through a season or two where they don't play to their usual high standards. Look at Drogba for Chelsea...the first two seasons he was rubbish and he kept being linked with a move away but Mourinho saw him on the training pitch all the time and saw his potential. Rafa sees Riise every day and has kept faith in him. Also this season he has played a slightly different role and he has had to adjust. As for Kuyt, Yossi and Pennant I don't believe they should be first choice players but with a team like Liverpool who play in 4 competitions every season and consistently get far in the Champions League you need a big squad with fringe players that are good enough as stand ins and content to being used as so. I admit that there are a lot of players at Liverpool that need to be offloaded but a lot of the 60 players on our books were bought by Benitez as youngsters for the future. Our reserve team are mostly 17-18 year olds who might not be mentioned by the media by name for a good 5 years but will be mentioned, by people like Kenny, as a statistic. Even if 1/5 of these players turn out to be fist team regulars that is a job well done. Also if you look at how many of these players are out on loan you would see that our wage bill isn't that big and certainly nothing compared to that of Chelsea and Man Utd, both of whom we are trying to compete with. I don't mind an Everton supporter commenting on Liverpool but what I hate is when the person writes and article with very very basic knowledge about what he is writing about.
