Six of the best and Arsenal's miracle can come true
Four draws and a defeat in five games seemed to have brought the Gunners' cruising season to a premature halt. But after the amazing ten-man turnaround at Bolton on Saturday, can anyone now rule out a Premier League and Champions League double for the Gunners?

When the Gunners drew four times and lost to Chelski in a little uneven bump in the season, critics came flying back with their comments of “I told you so” and “Kids don't win you anything”. The four draws hurt the team badly as they were against Birmingham, Aston Villa, Wigan and Middlesbrough; hardly your regular title contenders. Coupled with the loss to Chelski and a broken leg for Eduardo amidst the run, team morale and motivation sank to a new low. It was hardly surprising that goals from Emmanuel Adebayor an Cesc Fabregas dried up as the team forgot how to win.As such, there could not have been a worse time to visit the Reebok Stadium. With Arsenal's dismal away record there, the danger of the title race going up in smoke similar to previous years was imminent. Although Bolton are mired in a relegation battle themselves, they still had Kevin Davies, Ivan Campo and El Hadji Diouf, among others, with the experience and determination to continue their domination against the Gunners. For a while, it looked like history was repeating itself as Bolton raced into a 2-0 lead and Arsenal went a man down. Young and ignorant, Abou Diaby was never a match for the crafty old heads of the Bolton players. And his rash tackle ensured that the Gunners went into the break with a bleak scoreline in the gloomy rain. In Big Sam’s days, being two goals down and a man short would have meant game, set and match to Bolton. However, the Arsenal players came out reeking with confidence after a half-time talk by Le Boss. God knows what happened in the dressing room but my guess is “IT WAS NOT PLEASANT”.Anyway, back to the hope. RVP continued his drastic return to form by missing sitters and mis-kicking the simplest of passes. I felt my hope for a comeback almost extinguished until a certain maligned captain ghosted in at the far post from a corner kick to slam the ball into the net! The rapturous applause of the travelling fans interrupted the sickening repetition of the pounding rain. William Gallas issued the war cry and how the team responded! Within six minutes, the referee was pointing to the spot after a tackle sent Aleksandr Hleb sprawling in the penalty box. My heart was in my mouth when I saw his hesitation during his run-up to take the penalty kick. The look of elation and relief mixed with his joyous shout was evidence to all when he sent the keeper the wrong way.Level at last with their nemesis, the Gunners pushed further and pressed harder for the winning goal. A 2-2 scoreline was never enough in this final stretch of the title race. As the passes grew more precise and legs tired, we found holes in the Bolton defence to suggest we would be able to exploit. At last, with Lady Luck finally smiling down at us, a hit by our boy wonder (Fabregas) bobbled its way among bodies and finally decided to deflect off Jloyd Samuel into the net. Fabregas’s goal or an own goal? Who cares! We got our winner! To label this an amazing comeback is an understatement. Even Monsieur Wenger declared it was the most amazing comeback he has ever seen. To me, I feel that this is the turning point of our season. After this, we will be indestructible and will go on to win the remaining six matches and even the Champions League. The question now is: “Will winning the remaining six matches secure the league title?” It seems a a bit like too little, too late with Manchester United six points ahead and even Chelsea a point in front of us. But it's never to late to hope and it's never too late for a miracle to happen.
Go Gunners!
