Arsenal's style or Liverpool's pedigree? It's got to be the Gunners!
Barring Manchester United, the Gunners were the worst possible Champions League draw for Rafa Benitez, but the Scousers can claim a few hits in Europe.

The pre-match bluster has already started in preparation of the Arsenal v Liverpool trilogy that will, hopefully, be a joy to behold over just six days.
Kolo Toure has claimed that Liverpool “will be scared” to face Arsenal and Steven Gerrard has said that the Merseyside giants are “always confident whoever we come up against.”

I do love reading some of the dribble on here - especially the convenient glossing over of the 4-1 drubbing the supposedly beautiful Arsenal suffered in the league last season and your subsequent failure to do anything of note this season despite being at peak form while Liverpool were missing key players. But we'll see who's celebrating next week.

Unbeaten in two against the gunners and with 5 goals scored and one conceded... so you can add form to your pedigree.
Because of course we havn't had major players out injured all season. *rolls eyes*
None when you played Liverpool last ... *rolls them back*

yes you did beat us 4-1, congrats. what were the results of the 3 games before that? well we beat you 3-0 in the league... then 3-1 in the fa cup (at anfield).... then our reserves stuffed you 6-3 at anfeld again. all the money youve spent and we are still a far superior outfit: you have 3 good players, you need another 8. o yea and to learn how to play attacking football: at the moment youre like chelski but less effective

I like Liverpool. I don't have the same animosity with Liverpool fans that I feel with, say Spurs fans or Chelski fans. But today, I saw first hand how negative Benitez's tactics can get. I was astonished at how satisfied Benitez was once his team got the equalizer. Dirk Kuyt hardly featured up front after his goal. Gerrard stayed back deep. Mascherano was a fifth defender literally. Hard for me to say how I would like my team to play. Play like Liverpool did to win trophies or play like we do and end up frustrated.

what a result... dirk kuyt is the 2nd greatest striker in the prem, behind the wonderboy that is fernando! hahaha, i love sour faced gooners!

That's why they bowed out with a 5-3 aggregate?
