Liverpool's European pedigree will see off Arsenal
Anfield is no fun for visiting teams on European nights - the combo of the Kop in full voice and passion seeping through the stands will test Arsenal's mettle. It promises to be a cracker.

Anfield on European nights is like no other. Whatever people can say about the passion of Turkish supporters is fair enough, but nothing can compare to Anfield.
The whole stadium is bouncing and it gets to the opposition the minute they arrive in the dressing room before the game. Teams have fallen by the wayside due to the atmosphere that the '12th man' creates. The Kop is the conductor, leading the rest of the Redmen in a merry dance of songs and chants. On the field the Redmen are inspired, as the cacophony of sound surrounds them.
Arsenal will come up against this on Tuesday, and William Gallas has experienced it all before. As a Liverpool fan, I am very wary of the ability and quality Arsenal have.
They can unlock defences with their awesome brand of attacking football as we saw in the first leg, and they deserve respect for the style of football they play; but they should not be feared by the Liverpool players.
One thing in our favour - besides the away goal - is, of course, the Anfield roar, which will be in full cry come 7.45pm on Tuesday. Like most teams before them, if Arsenal don't handle it well, they will come a cropper.
It should be a cracking tie under the lights of the famous old stadium. So let's look at Liverpool's European record at Anfield:
Qualifiers: Played 7: Won 5, lost 2. Group Stages: Played 21: Won 12, Drawn 6, Lost 3. Knock-out quarter-finals and semi-finals: Played 9: Won 7, Lost 2. Six Champions League campaigns by Liverpool discounting the qualifiers: Played 30: Won 19, Drawn 6, Lost 5.Liverpool have won 63% of their games at Anfield overall in the Champions League proper. The three defeats in the group stages were by Barcelona, Marseille and Rafa Benitez's Valencia (they gave us a master-class in passing and possession).
In the knockout stages, we have won 77% of our games at Anfield. Only Benfica and Barcelona have beaten the Reds at Anfield in the knockout stages. We have dispatched Chelsea (twice), Bayer Levekusen (twice), Juventus, Inter and PSV. Will Arsenal become another of our victims?

Liverpools form in Europe and in thje league are different coz different tactics are involved when approaching games, its not the same as a premier league game u stupid arsenal YNWA Cant wait to see THE MIGHTY SCOUSERS KICK OUT THE ARSES:)

This Kop 12th man thing is silly. It's not like Liverpool have the best home record in the Champions League. I'd actually fear going to the San Siro where few teams have obtained a result in Europe. The point is that Arsenal only need one goal to change the tie. I'll bet my mortgage on Arsenal getting that goal against a feeble Liverpool side that conceded goals at home to Havant and Waterlooville at home. Liverpool fans know there team is weaker so they're trying to talk up some advantage. Arsenal will get a result because they are the better team.

Ole Gunner, Matt Smith & Putri asgfdsa. I respect Arsenal a lot as i have said above but your comments are reminiscent of Chelsea supporters prior to the Anfield legs's in 2005 and 2007, which were English Opposition. Liverpool have proven that Champions League and European football is different than League football. It will be something your supporters will never have experienced before.

63% wins at home in the CL over six seasons? How poor. Pool have won 65% of their games at home in the Prem over the last five years. Do the math. 60-18-13. Liverpool may win next week, but the fans won't have anything to do with it: it'll be because of Arsenal fatigue and Liverpool timidity, if it happens.

Knock-out quarter-finals and semi-finals: Played 9: Won 7, Lost 2. = 77%. Liverpool at home in the knockout stages are specialists, as we have seen over the last 3 seasons under Benitez with the teams dispatched.

Arsenal were the first English team to get a win at the San Siro this year. They've won at Anfield before and recently. They've scored in both of the fixtures so far, which makes the away goal seem less of a challenge. Liverpool still need at least a goal. Arsenal need to break their run of poor finishing. 2-1 Gunners is my guess. Fabs and Adebayor would be my guess.

Yes they were the first English team to win at the San Siro (BECAUSE THEY PLAYER THERE FIRST!) (and they played a crapper AC Milan side than ever before) and Liverpool's squad is A LOT and I mean A LOT better than last year and Liverpool barely ever conceed at home anymore. so I don't know what you're talking about. and Liverpool's midifelders/ defence can contain ALL of Arsenal's attacks even with an inexperienced player like Damien Plessis (MOTM vs Arsenal). So I don't know what you're on about.
I meant PLAYED* not PLAYER (MY BAD)
