Manager Ramos will be scouring the European scene to carry Spurs to the next level - but who will survive at White Hart Lane this summer?

Since Juande Ramos took the reins at White Hart Lane their has been change aplenty; better diets, more fitness work in training and a greater degree of concentration on defending.
The results have been victory in the Carling Cup final and Tom Huddlestone and Co. shifting the pounds in the pursuit of being ultimate athletes. However, the ‘Magic Juande’ has not had his own way entirely, the end factor being that an exodus is expected at the end of the year.
Over the last couple of seasons, Tottenham’s popularity among footballing neutrals has gained stock. The reasons are two fold; the outrageous number of goals being scored and conceded, and also the number of English players that Martin Jol brought into his first team. It appears that several of these players face an ignominious exit over the summer.
Before the 2006 World Cup, Aaron Lennon was heralded as one of biggest potential stars of English football, England’s answer to Cristiano Ronaldo. Unfortunately such hype has failed to deliver. Nobody denies Lennon’s pace and ability to beat a man but, unlikely his Portuguese counterpart, he has failed to develop an end product.

good article, i think lennon should get another year, although it frustrates me every week watching him. i hope we dont do this swap deal reported for n'zobia. the guy cant even do a lot at newcastle so i cant see why we would add him to the squad. agree with chimbo & zokora going not too sure on kaboul though, the guy is still young and was dropped a bit in the deep end with us at the beginning of the season and what with a calamitous robbo behind him and michael 'bambi on ice' dawson next to him he didnt have much of a chance. both him and daws need someone commanding next to them.
Robbie Keane is Irish not British

Zokora moving on? Watch Spurs, THEN comment. Didier's going nowhere, Jenas is certainly not leaving and there is not even a hint of doubt over Huddlestone. This was Kaboul's first season and he is extremely young - he's not leaving either.

Jeanas & Zokora need to improve to stay in Juandes plans. Thud did well and is still young and can learn more as can Kaboul. I see Kaboul more as a Midfield player who loves to run with the ball. Chimbonda, Lee can go as we have better in Bale and Assou Ekotto. Lennon has been found out with his abilities and the lack of decent crosses. We need 100% from each player and not some of the half hearted performances from players like Jenas and Malbranque. Jenas can have a magnificent game and quite the reverse, damned awful. Malbranque appears to have trouble hitting a barn door from 1 foot and missed too many opportunities for my liking. Bent should be sold if we keep Berbatov, like wise he should be kept if Berbatov is sold. He will not want to sit on the bench all season and we all saw how bad the formation with bent in the team against the bar codes. Robbie is still one of the best goalies in the country despite a couple of errors. Even calamity James kept to his name in the semis of the FA Cup when he lost the ball too easily. IMO sorry but thats is my opinion.
ROBBO not ROBBIE DOH !

I dont agree about Malbranque. If anyone give 100% its him, and his setup play and ball winning abilities make him a valuable player. Remember he is playing out of position on the left. Lennon seems to have an attitude problem, but i would hold on to him in the hope that a more mature Lennon returns after the summer with a better delivery. Kaboul will hopefully come right, but I dont think he belongs in the midfield. He might be a big lad, but I dont think he is quick enough to keep up in midfield, as it is Hudd struggles, but his passing ability is what sets him apart. I hope Ramos brings in a creative mid who can supply the front 2 with killer passes and create space. JJ a squad player at best..

This is the most ridiculous article I have wasted my time reading in a long time. JJ, Hudd, Zok, Daws will all definitely be there next season, as will Lennon. Chimbo will prob move on, as may Robbo. Have you actually been to a game and seen Spurs play?
ermmm excuse me zokora especially is NOT good enough. he cant shoot and he cant tackle and his concentration span is of that of a teaspoon. In fact the last comment is foolish because Ramos actually said, as reported in broadsheets such as the times, that only 5 players in the spurs team are bullet proof this summer - King, Berbatov, Woodgate, Hutton and Keane. So how you can say that Lennon, Hudd, Zok and Daws will "definitely" be at spurs next season is beyond me. Perhaps you are more informed of the manager...? donut.
(more informed THAN the manager.)

I have a vested interest in commenting on Spurs. Robinson, Keane, Lennon, Woodgate, Rose and of course Poyet. Basically it is a proxy Leeds set-up. The basis of a squad to gate grash to big four is there already with Hutton, Woodgate, King, Dawson, Bale, Jenas, Lennon, Huddlestone, Malbranque, Keane & Berbatov. Robinson sorry to say is simply not top draw. For such a big guy he is far too rooted to his line and balls across his six yard box wreak havoc. He should be coached to dominate his box or got rid of. I would like Spurs to get Gordan or Foster. They need a genuine quality playmaker and someone to play left midfield. Riquelme springs to mind for the former for the latter maybe Reyes. The basis of a team

I think Robinson and Dawson need to go. Way too many errors between those two this year, which has resulted in gifts for the opposition. A new keeper (with some height) and a defender who can climb and win a ball in the air would be a good start. Also Chimbonda is a bit sus.
