Why do Arsenal and Liverpool freeze in the league?
There is no doubting the tactical acumen of Arsene Wenger and Rafa Benitez. Both of their clubs succeed on the European stage but lack the cutting edge to deliver in the league. Maybe Lady Luck just isn't smiling on them.

A season offering so much promise to Arsenal FC looks certain to end trophyless, while Liverpool prepare for their third Champions League semi-final in four seasons.
Both sides started the season brightly before wilting in The Premier League, and while Arsenal lasted longer than Liverpool in terms of challenging domestically, both sides share many similarities.Arsene Wenger and Rafa Benitez may possess different philosophies about the way football should be played but there are a great many similarities about the two clubs at present.
The average age of both teams is comparable, and both clubs are looking to the development of future talent as a means of competing with the deeper pockets of Manchester United and Chelsea FC.
Wenger's programme at Arsenal is naturally more mature than that at Liverpool, having had several more years in which to develop it, but the similarities are striking.

The youth policy is good but Aresenal always allow plays they claim are old to go instead of helping the youngester. Robert P, Wiltort, Edu all were allow to leave for free when they could still have helped. We need a couple of good English players and the policy of allowing experience players to leave for free should stop.

Rate players before u add price and called them seasoned - Wright-Philips 24mil pounds Henry - 16mil ; etc Fabregas, Flamini are they worse than Carrick and Scholls..... Shut up. Now it has become soooo obvious that the Premiership is always cooked for Manu that it is not worth playing.. Every big team has have a midfielder shown a RED card at Oldtraford so United can win and they Ronaldo a star when he plays against no midfield.. Look is Rio the best centre back? Clichy and Sagna

Arsenal don't have a problem as severe as that of Liverpool, although there is some certain problems dwelling in both back rooms of the both
Arsene Wenger has been manager at Arsenal now for eleven years..... Arsenal are the second most successful team in that period of time in the premiership!.... What about the other 90 league teams below Arsenal haven't they frozen more!!!!?

Hasn't Wenger won the league two or three times with Arsenal? And as for starting the season with bright promise, every poster on Sportingo worried they would not finish fourth, much less challenge for the league for seven months. It was "they're at least a year away, if ever.." etc etc. They certainly were bowled over easily today, wheren't they, by a PK and a well-disguised trick kick -- ManU surely ran them off the pitch, didn't they! LOL!
