Why Tom Hicks' dirty-linen tactics won't wash at Liverpool
In a stage-managed interview, the Texan chain-saw massacred Rick Parry while offering Rafa Benitez another year at the helm. If only he'd leave football matters to those who know the game!

With great fanfare, Sky Sports News brought out their “exclusive” interview with Liverpool co-owner Tom Hicks.
In a soft Texan drawl, Hicks started a charm offensive in his battle with all the main protagonists. And in the best propaganda move of all he guaranteed Rafa Benitez another year in the job.
But, if one takes a closer look at the interview (which can be seen here) there were some enormously worrying signals for Liverpool fans. Here are just a few snippets:
"Look at what's happened under Rick. It has been a disaster . . . Rick needs to resign from Liverpool FC.”

We heard so much about Pool's proud history. Should i were born on Merseyside, there's no brainer which team i might support. Event two recent finals vs Milan im rooting for you lots. But i guess with current situation, a club which once (yes, once in 80s) hailed the most successful in England, being dragged through mud, is embarrassing. In a way it's a good wake up call for the rest of the clubs in the league... but as a fellow countryman, it's a sad sad thing this kind of shambles happening to our illustrious rival.
