This was Sir Alex Ferguson’s view on the penalty that saw his side pegged back in this neck and neck title race by Avram Grants’s resurgent Chelsea: “It was absolutely diabolical. This was the first penalty awarded against Manchester United all season! That fact, in itself, is incredible. Also since when did your hand have to be waving in the air like a tic-tac man to commit handball? And is it not the job of the assistant referee to make decisions based on what he sees in front of him? It goes without saying that this was one of the most cast iron penalty decisions of recent seasons no matter what Sir Alex says.

I’ve long since lost patience with the amount of credence given to this overgrown playground bully by the media. So why is he so indulged?

the most ridiculous article i have ever read on the whole of the internet,you have not got 1 clue what ur saying,u just think u do.sir alex is the most successful british manager of all time u clown,true he has only won 1cl trophy,but manchesters not exactly barcelona or real madrid weather wise,its difficult attracting the best players,which are usually south americans
