Manchester City fans' SOS – Save Our Sven from a Thaksin axing!
The Swede who has given Blue Moonies a new pride – and the double over United – faces the chop from a Thai turnip with loadsamoney and no idea about football.

Sources at three of the UK's biggest sporting news agencies have reported that, following a recent meeting between Sven-Goran Eriksson and owner Thaksin Shinawatra, Manchester City are set to axe their manager.
This season has seen a vast improvement at City, from last year's relegation-flirting four points from the drop zone, to a club with genuine European ambitions. Earlier in the season some supporters were left watching in disbelief as their team challenged for the top spot.
This jump has been the work not only of Thaksin's cheque book, but the abilities of a manager with a proven track record at club (and, dare I say it, international) level.
Sven has overseen a transformation of fortunes at Eastlands, taking over a team who had not scored at home since January 1, 2007 and turning them into one that maintained a 100 per cent home record from the start of the season until December 18, an astonishing feat. They have also performed an almost unprecedented league double over their Manchester neighbours, winning 1-0 at home and 2-1 at Old Trafford.

Liverpool and City are in the grip of people who really shouldn't have control of our clubs, how can we as fans prevent this from happening again to your club?, is there a way that fans can unite and buy out their clubs?, after all Barca are fan 'owned' and elect a president Why cant we do the same

Liverpool tried it a few months back but it hasn't been on the news since... Then I suggested it on a couple of my teams blogs and I was told the shares were too dear... Then I said why not form small limited companies so fans can get together and buy a share or two and no one was interested. They don't want the Russians or Americans, but they won't put there money where there mouths are!!
believe everyone in Spain is billionaire, but typical of us Brits all yap no bite

More money than footballing sense IMO. What exactly DOES the twit from thailand expect in a single season? I suggest he puts his big ideas away and follows the lead of the man u board all those years ago and stand by his manager, as you never know where it might lead!
