Chelsea v Liverpool - to decide the runners-up to Manchester United in Moscow
Stand by for another bore war as Rafa Benitez and Avram Grant go into snooze control at Stamford Bridge.

So here we have it – the game that will decide which club will join Manchester United in an all-English Champions League final.
A match that pits Red against Blue, the American multi millionaires against the Russian multi billionaire, the club that is having vicious squabbles in the boardroom versus the club that had a huge postprandial melee on their pitch; but all this surely makes it sound far too exciting.
In reality what we are witnessing are Ebeneezer Scrooge and Jacob Marley bickering over who will make it to Moscow. This isn’t going to be a goal orgy, it isn’t even going to be as pleasing to the eye as the two legs of Manchester United against Barcelona with their “passing carousel”.
Chelsea v Liverpool will be the match that effectively crowns the runner-up, because neither of these snooze merchants will surely succumb to the Lord of the Ferg and his sparkling team. Stripped of Wayne Rooney and Nemenja Vidic, United were pushed through to the final courtesy of a long range outswinger from Paul Scholes, and they will be ready and waiting for the winner from tonight's Stamford Bridge encounter.

One thing that was learned from lastnights game, C.Ronaldo isnt the best player in the world, he was completely overshadowed by Lionel Messi. United were overall quite lucky to be in the final. If Liverpool win tonight then I would go for United to lift the trophy, however if Chelsea win i'd go for them.
Man U fan here. I'd rather Liverpool got through as we do them on a regular basis. Against pool I think we would have a good 80% chance of winning. Against Chelski I'd go for about 50/50

ED, What a crap report you are just a jealous toffe because you know Everton will never get anywhere near the champions league never mind the final. The season you did actually get in you were weak and got knocked out straight away. why dont you got talk about your own club who are the most boring in thw world!

How funny is this? How much further from the truth is the prediction in this article? If this is an example of the footballing knowledge around Everton then it explains why they are such dross. Thanks for the laugh, though!
